Spring is Finally Coming!

We've had 70" so far and they're calling for another storm on mon/tue.

This one will be the grand finale of the season for the mid-Atlantic/eastern seaboard......triple phased monster.

All I have to say about 'spring being around the corner' is: April 1st 1997. :ack:

 

It had been almost 70* a couple days before,

then 30+ inches were dumped overnight for the last day of March/First day of April :doh:

 

 

The wiki link says official overnight snow in Boston was 25.4",

but that's at Logan Airport (surrounded on 3 sides by 50* water in April).

Weather here has been great! Looks like spring is on it's way from where I'm sitting. The best part about that is the daylight lasting later in the day. Gives me more time to work on my Jeep!

We still have several feet of that white crap outside, but I heard a "Hoot" whistle this morning coming across the fields from the Strasburg RR. :banana: Best thing I've heard since they ran during the Dec. storm.( Wish I could have seen it :fs1: ).

Two big signs I look for........calving season............ seen first baby calves on Friday :banana: :banana: :banana:

And the return of meadowlarks, my daughter and I make it a point to see who hears one first. :clapping:
