Jeepcom23 Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Flexed it out yesterday. Not very impressive lol. added bonus!
A_Town_MJ Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 That looks a lot like Haspin Acres in IN, but i guess a lot of places have similiar looking trees and dirt. haha Nice to see a 2wd out in the dirt,
Jeepcom23 Posted January 16, 2010 Author Posted January 16, 2010 yes its connected. And I'm in TN on Mt. Aetna. I ended up having to park it halfway up because there was a sheet of ice about 20' long. I rode in the bed of my dads z71.
Pete M Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 disconnect the swaybar and you'll see a noticeable improvement. :D
mvusse Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 That's really not that bad for a mostly stock suspension. Disconnecting the front sway bar will give you a bit more.
DJM/78 Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 If you used 2" lift springs instead of the pucks , you'll get allot more play out of the suspension . I don't know if you used lift shocks , but they help as well . Also , how is your rear set up , add-a-leaf or shackle extensions ? New spring packs help as well . That looks like it has allot more flex than my buddy's stock !
Jeepcom23 Posted January 16, 2010 Author Posted January 16, 2010 all stock height except for the 2" coil spacer.
akamcbird Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 is that flexed to bumpstop? it kinda looks like you stopped when the tire got to the fender, more backspace on the wheels could help the stuff factor.
89eliminator Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 disconnect that swaybar and post more pics!
Jeepcom23 Posted January 16, 2010 Author Posted January 16, 2010 Honestly, that wasn't really intentional lol. I had to turn around and get out of the road. I only stopped because the back tire was barely touching the ground and just kept spinning lol.
