I have one of the old long arm kits the 3 link. The flex is awsome. Over the last couple of months i have noticed the front end wants to nose dive on the passenger side I was wondering if i could put upper control arms back on in the factory location. Would this help keep the front from nose dive.

Don't do that  Caster and pinion angle nightmare.

*Image for TJ rear, but you can mentally flip it for the front!

Not sure what you mean by nose dive?

I have the two lower long arms. Then for the third arm back then they called it a tourqe arm. It goes from middle of drivers side long arm to the coil spring base to bracket that is welded on. Sorry i do not pictures

I will try to get some pictures. Shockes are about 3 months old. Also there is nothing bolted to the factory upper control arm mounts on the axel left ar right side

No i checked that to everything is tight. I wonder since i do not drive it that much i am used to driving the other with the four link set up.

DO NOT PUT ARMS IN THE STOCK UPPERS LOCATION!!!!

It will either buckle the arm or rip the mounts off the axle or body. I tried the same thing when I had my RK 3 link. I was worried there was not enough support for daily driving in the event of a failure.

I tried it, it failed.

If it is diving, you have a weak shock or coil. You have the first Gen kit. If you call and talk sweet to Heather she will normally give you the Gen II upgrade for a discount.

Just curious on the teraflex longarm it shows just two longarms and two brackets. Is there anything else that goes with the kit.

thats a horrible design. it uses longer lowers while keeping the short arm uppers.

I have had great luck with the OME shocks on my TJ. 65K miles and still doing their job. Not sure if they offer one in the configuration you will need. I think the Rubicon Express monotubes are a similar design.
