AmJay Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Hi all, :waving: My name is Dave but most people call me Mac. I just bought my next Jeep project. It's a 1990 Comanche Eliminator. Just so it didn't feel lonely I bought a wreaked Comanche Pioneer for parts. The PO put a lift in the front. I think he said it has Explorer coil springs and BDS shocks. It is 2WD which is fine. The rear hasn't been lifted so I plan on taking the lift out of the front and putting it back to stock for now. Especially since it doesn't have a sway bar. I picked up some Coils from a 97 XJ and took the sway bar off the wreaked Comanche. I plan on using it to pull my CJ7 to the trails near my place in Manton MI. If anyone needs any Comanche parts I may be able to pull them off the wreaked one. What I need is window wipes and a working passenger side manual window regulator (maybe both regulators). Since it's cold out here now I can't get much work done before I start loosing feeling in my fingers and toes, so I'm really just waiting for warmer weather and collecting parts for now. Anyway..I tend to ramble.. Glad I found this Forum! Mac..
