Clean off all of that RTV, quickly. You are going to clog up your cooling system. You don't need anywhere near that much.

 

Now take off the belt before you put the thermostat housing back on. It is very easy for the thermostat to slide down between the housing and the head when you try to install it with the belt on. With the belt off you will be able to get a straight shot with the thermostat housing.

I am sure it is in the grooves. The rtv was not all squshed out. Alot of it was added on outside. I have pictures from next attempt last weekend

I went and got my oil changed today and here is what I found out:

 

I need a crankshaft pulley mine is rubbing on case

water pump

heater control valve

flexable rear brake hose

 

 

also found out

I have a Vacuum leak

My fuel filter is on wrong

Ball joints are good

Nothing really broken or hanging

 

The guy said he would buy it off me for 2K.

I am going to drain my Diff tomorrow what kind of gear oil should i get?

 

I looked it up on alldata it say 75w-90?

Should I do synthetic or regular?

How much?

 

Comanche, Grand Wagoneer, Wrangler, YJ 75W-90 GL-5

With trailer tow pkg. 80W-140 GL-5

Cherokee 75W-90 GL-5

With Class III hitch 80W-140 GLS*

*Mopar synthetic gear oil

*All with Limited-Slip differential, add one container Mopar Trac-Loc additive

Got pulled over by a State Trooper today

 

I got

ticket for

no turn signal use(i used it)

following to close(guy pulled out in front of me right before cop)

 

He said he let me go on

Speeding( only i was speeding though not the guy i was following

Loud exhaust??

Reckless driving for trying to pass this guy then going back into same lame???

 

 

He was a complete @$$ hole

I asked him how fast i was going he said you flew by me......

he was sitting still i was doing 35MPh speed limit lol

He gave me a verbal warning (if i would have gotten ticket i would have asked to see radar)

 

 

but

 

 

i changed my diff fluid and o2 sensor and got sand bags
