1999MJ Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Picked this up a couple months back from a customer. It's a 91 2WD Eliminator, 4.0/AX15 Dana35 with 107k. I already have a couple 4wd trucks so I'm keeping this one a 2Wd and doing a kind of steet truck vibe with this one. Here's a picture the day I got it. first thing was to get rid of those ugly rims. Picked up a new set of tires for it friday and had a set of 15x10 soft 8's laying around that I decided to use. The tires are 275/60/15's all the way around. They stick out a little bit but that's the look i'm going for. low and Fat! Future pland are to get the body work going on it and lay a new coat of paint on it. Have a disc brake 8.8 LDS with 3.73's that will be going in along with a duel diafram booster. Tinte the windows and may be add a 97+ front clip. Really short on time these days so this one's going to take a little bit to get going. but i'll try and keep the updates comming.
88pioneer Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Tires look good. Liking the ram there in the background. I was wondering where u got that backrack for the comanche from.
1999MJ Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 The ram's my tow rig. The back rack is from an 04 toyota tacoma pick up.
88pioneer Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Yea i figured it came of something like that. nice rigs all around
1999MJ Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 that's just a factory flare that I sanded down the lip with a DA to look a little more like the 97+ style to match my 97 front flares I have on it

Optical illusion? Looks great, love the LWB Elims.
1999MJ Posted September 16, 2009 Author Posted September 16, 2009 the toe is a little out but not as bad as the picture makes it seem. When I drove it home it was all over the place. I'm just gathering up the rest of the front end parts and off to the alignment rack it goes
1999MJ Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 Had these extra center caps laying around but can't decide if I want to use them or not wanted some opinions With cap without What do ya think?
Automan2164 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I am a fan of the chrome center cap, and chrome lugs... The full piece jeep center looks a little out of place. Rob L. :dunno:
1999MJ Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 how do you think the caps would look painted black?
Automan2164 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 That might work, but those factory caps? Arent they attached by a screw from the other side? Rob L.
1999MJ Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 I'm also debating changing over to the 97+ nose but not 100% sure
1999MJ Posted October 25, 2009 Author Posted October 25, 2009 Gave the truck a little facelift over the weekend. Blacked out the front end of the truck and I have a little something special planed for a front bumper here's a before and after. I used VHT niteshade lense paint on the marker and turn signals. before after Image Not Found
CRM1988 Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Like how the tires look!I am going fatter when mine wears out but would like to keep stock wheels.
the_wizard_of_fire Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 how do you think the caps would look painted black? thats my vote. all black exept the "jeep" and ring on the center
Dirteatr717 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I'm liking the street look, fat and low like my grandmas dog haha, the grill and headlight trim and blacked out turn signals look sick
