Drahcir495
This is my Mvusse tribute thread  I had the jeeps up on the fork & walkie lifts at work this evening. The MJ was awesome, but I did notice a few issues with clearance that need to be addressed -> The rear shock is bottoming out early :fs1: . And the front may need to be trimmed or bump stopped -> More pictures are in my build-up page - Rich

mvusse
Since I've had my truck I went from stock to 4.5" lift with no drop in mpg at all. Now that I went up to 33x12.50 tires it probably went down, though.
Pete M
and it won't do me a bit of good besides drop my mpg's  Ground clearance and a rear locker will do more for ya on the trail than you might think. :D

I'm just trying to find a heck of a deal on the parts for a 4x4 swap, then ill raise it up a couple inches. nothing extreme though. 2-3 max
Pete M
The point of a lift 2wd is that you need clearance, but don't own a 4wd. Don't let yourself get sucked into the "I'm going to look like a poser" mentality. Desert racers are mostly 2wd. And there's no wasted money since the 4wd swap can happen second. It's all one big project, what does it matter what comes first? Plus it's cheap to regear since you only need to buy one axle right now. Just please don't spend any coin trying to improve your Dana 35. If you find one with 4.10s already in it and it's dirt cheap, then you have my permission to buy it. :D
