I’ve been thinking about towing the CJ because I apparently like making questionable decisions. :shaking:

The cooler is from the ZJ I pulled the axles from along with the bracket. This was a no-drill install which was nice. I tapped into the cool line coming out of the radiator.

Quick touch up with a little black and it disappears behind the grill. I’ve never had any transmission cooling issues, but I’ve also never really pulled anything with this truck over a long distance. Figured it couldn’t hurt and I had everything on hand.

After getting back from Moab I noticed a puddle of brake fluid under the left rear wheel. I swapped out both of the wheel cylinders today along with finally compounded and quick waxed the truck for the first time in a very long while.

Mmm… always worth that extra look back.

Went for a bit of a drive today and met @cord367, his dad, and paid a visit to J.O.E. Great to see that old truck! They’re doing an awesome job updating the truck and they welcomed me to take some leftovers.

These are the old axles from my old XJ. No idea what’s next for them, but I caught myself getting sentimental over how many rigs they’ve been in and how many miles I would’ve put on them. As for the Eliminator, it rode home on the bumps.

… not like they had far to go before hitting them.

Just the axles and springs in the bed made it ride that low? Wow!

Maybe some air shocks to add some load capacity? Then deflate them when you’re not hauling?

Meh… I didn’t even notice until I got home. I’d rather keep the Sachs!
