ZJrebel
Ok I tried the search feature but it didn't help any. How do I tell what MJ package I have? It has been repainted so none of the decals are there anymore and the title doesn't tell me either. :dunno:
KYMJ
Obtain a build sheet? It's been awhile, but I think the Pioneer package showed up on the build sheet I got for one of my Comanches'. Don't know the link, but it should show up with a search.

flint54
If the carpet has never been removed, the build sheet might be underneath. That's where I found mine, under the carpet behind the passenger seat. Also found a half dozen "extra" fasteners left there from the assembly line. Can find the link right now but you can Google it.

BLHTAZ
I just found out that I can no longer get info for anything older than 1989 through my Chrysler website either as I just tried to look up a 1987 for another member here as well as my '88 and could get nothing :ack: . garmj
I tried the link and this is the response I got. Dear Garry: Thank you for contacting the Chrysler Customer Assistance Center regarding the 1990 Jeep Comanche. In response to your email regarding your request for the build sheet information, we would like to inform you that we do not show you as the current owner of this vehicle and therefore cannot provide the information. We hope you understand our position as this is a security measure we need to follow for our customers. If you are in fact the current owner, please reply to the link below letting us know that you are verifying ownership and would like the information to be updated in our system. We need the owner name, address and telephone number, and current odometer reading. Please also provide the date of purchase, the vehicle odometer reading at the time of sale, and either the name of the selling dealer or that it was a private owner transaction. How do they know who the current owner is and why do they make this info sound as if giving it out is a matter of national security? As far as I know there have been no truck bombings where a Comanche was used.
robfg67
Garry, that is an odd reply, but it begs the question-is your name on the title? I have a hard time believing that Chrysler has access to the registry of motor vehicle records in all 50 states. Wait til Fiat gets in there and corrects this! BLHTAZ
Garry...please PM me your VIN number and your email address. I will get you some info and I should be able to see who Chrysler shows as the current owner I think.

Jeep somehow has access to records like that, I got a letter about transferring the warrantee on my CRD from Jeep, I never sent them any contact information, buy somehow, they knew.
