I think you are overestimating what you have.
-
So #53 fell into disrepair because no one knew what it was. You came across it and thought it looked cool so you begged to have it, still having no idea what it was. Now that you know what it is you see dollar signs in your future. You are somehow "dirt poor" but have at least 3 Comanches now sitting around. You got #53 for "nothin" but you'll be damned if someone who can truly appreciate it will get any kind of deal. So you have put a "I have no clue what this is really worth" price on it hoping someone will throw a lot of cash your way. That about sum it up?
-
That or they figured out what they have and have no idea how to price it.
-
Well now you can have it for 10 grand. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/760604041/overview/

Salvage title would probably only knock 1k off the price here. Especially if you included the pre fix pictures so the buyer knew why it was totaled. I just picked up a '96 Classic with 189k for $1,500. I would have killed for this '93 at $1,350.

How do I know what year these gauges came out of?

Thank you for the link. I had looked at Azzy's but they do not do glow gauges. -

I believe they are from the heyday of glow gauges, just your typical Ebay setup. Cannot seem to find a set, that photo is from a 2010 Cherokee Forum post. -

I may have found an easy solution to some of my issues with the stock gauges. Problem is, I cannot locate a set. -

Thank you for the pictures. I want to say I tried this back in '04 when I was regularly yard hopping and the gauges did not read the same when I plugged it back in to my '94. But I wanted to make sure I had not missed something. I am almost considering doing a full autometer setup at this point. -

No, you nailed it. I am trying to find good options for the first gen HO clusters. Of which I believe there are none. I actually think the original font/pattern looks more modern than it's replacement. The offset non symmetrical needles on the tach and speedo make my OCD tingle and all of the available overlays look tacky. -

Digging up na old one here, guys. I personally prefer this font/gauge over the newer HO setup. HO's came with this style of gauge in the idiot clusters. Does anyone know if you can drop the full Renix gauges into an HO housing using the electric HO speedometer? -
No worries, it is still a good resource.

I'd say the site is a bit dated.... http://www.autobidmaster.com/carfinder-online-auto-auctions/lot/20642940/COPART_1992_JEEP_COMANCHE_P_CO_DENVER_CO/

I was wondering if you were loading up the trailer yet.....

Oh crap, this guy? I didn't know that was the same one, sad story.
-
Rob, this unicorn still kicking around in your pasture?
-
Holy crap, your airbag computer is still mounted under the seat? That was a recall for the '99.
-
I do believe it was in that area, yes. It was a "Best of the West" run, I do not recall the year.
-
Back when it was called "White Trash".

Thanks it was a fun rig. Still wish I had it sometimes. I won't muddy up your thread with a bunch of pictures, but I'll just toss up one of my favorites. Keep up the good work on yours.

I owned this one for a time. Ended up selling it to Yella before I moved out to the Coast.

91 Comanche (97+ Swapped) Thinking About Selling It
Kittrell replied to North4x4's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Those are '95-'96 XJ Country seats, fairly hard to come by. I had them in my '99, they match the agate interior well.
