  1. I don't like lighter interiors simply for the fact they are impossible to keep clean. I don't know how WK owners deal with that cream in the limiteds......... :ack:
  2. You didn't mention that you had ACOS on hand and for so cheap.............. ;)
  3. That kinds of an expensive way to do a cheap lift.................... :hmm:
  4. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.p ... tall+Turns http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.p ... tall+Turns http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.p ... tall+Turns http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.p ... tall+Turns There are a few ideas in all of these threads. Hope that gets you somewhere. Don't overlook the CPS wiring issue, worth checking out.
  5. Good call, I forgot Jon still makes those. Good alternate to the Creeper cables............
  6. I had Creeper cables in my '99. Great upgrade tethered with an Optima. http://www.jeepin.com/features/cables/index.asp
  7. Just a FYI, your truck doesn't have struts. It's not IFS/IRS.
  8. I'm not a fan of the XP6054 myself. They stick out like torpedos, a bit ridiculous looking. If you can still pick up the X6054, I'd be all over that.
  9. Yeah, those are the cheap Ebay ones. You can even tell from the picture that the lens does not go all the way back to the housing. It's essentially just floating out there. If you look close, you can see the two strips of metal, off the top and bottom, that tether it in there. The picture I posted is of the $1,000 projector kit.
  10. If you are talking about the lenses that you can get on ebay for about $20; I bought a set of those back in the day for research purposes. Pile of crap, it's just half a projector lens attached to the inside of the housing with a couple of strips of tin. It's not sealed, so light can get out on every side. I promptly threw those in the trash. There is only one company that makes ACTUAL HID projectors for our rigs, and it's not cheap, $1,000. Trust me on this. I embarked on this project many years ago. I looked at every option. Back then all there were was Sylvania Xenarcs, and they had been discontinued. I looked for a solid year before I found a set for sale. They cost $1,000 retail back then, so I jumped at the used set for $500. Now there is an actual projector kit out there, but the price is right on par. Let me stress again that there is no replacement housing out there you can just buy that will properly and safely take a HID light.
  11. Big Offroad does......... http://www.bigoffroad.com/products-page ... e-details/
  12. Those H4s were NOT made for HIDs. Don't just throw some in and think everything is gravy. You will blind people with those, it's a safety hazard. If you want HIDs, you have to buck up and get the actual kit.
  13. Sylvania Xenarc......... Image Not Found
  14. My Audi had one on there when I brought it home from the dealership after purchase. I about had a heart attack...............
  15. Yeah, I think the MJ roof is also one of the defining characteristics, it's gotta stay!
  16. If you are just adding 2 doors in, then everything will go back together just like stock. Just a tad more area to cover on the floor and ceiling.
  17. Ummm ... that depends. Were you looking for one to cut the nose off of? Ha, no, I couldn't trash such a gem. Was just curious if it was still around.
  18. A Cherokee with the cab thrown on the back is a Cheromanche. The difference between them is if it still has the "frame" under the bed, then it's still pretty much a Comanche. You are modifying a Comanche slighty, but it's still a truck. Almost every single piece of the truck is still there. You still register it as a Comanche............
  19. Here are my crew cabs for $#!&s and grins...............
  20. You might appreciate this one then................... :chillin:
  21. When I did my '99 I went with a Hesco pump. It's a great piece of hardware. Well engineered. Flow Kooler is an option too, but I seem to remember a lot of them failing fairly quickly. http://www.hesco.us/shop.asp?action=det ... catId=7967
  22. Yeah, I get what you mean. Cut the back of the cab off, just like people do when they rob them for XJs. just a little more forward to retain the back of the door jamb. Fill in your 9" of roof/rocker/floor pan.
  23. I'll have to swing by and take a look at this next time I am up in the Fort. Very intriguing build.............
