  1. This would be cool to see! This thing is awesome!
  2. They don't fit perfectly on the rear. There is a gap. I don't have any pictures of mine but I'm sure someone that does will chime in.
  3. Can't wait to see where this is going! Your work is amazing.
  4. Very nice! Love the gun metal color. I picked out what I believe to be the red on newer cherokees, but I mean who knows what color he actually will paint it. As long as its red I'll be happy. Would love to see pics of it going back together. The gap on the fenders wouldn't bother me either. The truck had been side swiped at some point in its life right before the rear wheel well so I think the wrinkle is what as giving me a hard time lining up the bushwackers. Oh well. I think if I can get the old ones cleaned up and maybe painted they should look good. I did toss around the idea of doing the lower half of the truck in black linex but i'm kind of shying away from that, might be too much black. I like your idea with the darker grey, should be a cool contrast. Was a pain in the @$$ to find the wheels but I'm very pleased with the way the wheels and tires looked. Plenty of time to get the rings mounted on them now.
  5. Staying red. Little bit brighter though! Damn! 9 weeks? What color are you getting yours painted? Very jealous of your rear bumper and tire carrier. I'm also going with the flat flares, Unfortunately I may be forced to keep the stock flares in the back, I just couldn't get the damn things lined up and I'm not going to mess around with it once it's painted.
  6. Off to get paint 4-6 weeks time to save for gears in the mean time.
  7. No problem, idk if the high flow has any effect but every little bit helps I guess and i plan on putting a temp gauge in the threads since the stock temp gauge is usless. Yea I didn't feel the warranty was necessary, this isnt my daily driver after all. The price on these tires have really come down in the last year.
  8. I would be interested in 3/2 or 4/1 depending on what the group decides.
  9. Got mine from tire rack in 3 days, cheaper than any local shop. No problems that I'm aware of. Can't wait!
  10. Should be good!
  11. Are you referring to the wheels?
  12. Good advice! Love the look of the ring but might have to remove them like you say before any serious wheeling.
  13. These should look good! classic lock II's and some kevlars! Also scored a longer front drive shaft from my buddy that no longer has a cherokee, idk what it came out of but it fits perfect. Need to finish up a few things before I can send it off to get painted and I've really been putting these things off since they're such a pain in the @$$. E-brake cables (can't seem to get a set that will work with the 8.8 i've ordered about 10 cables trying to rig something together Accelerator is very sticky and gets stuck at about 3K consistently. Not sure if its possible to fix the one on there or just order a new cable. Rear brake lines for the 3rd time. I think I've finally settled on a setup that will work.
  14. Those are the G2 axle spacers, little cheaper than spider trax, think I got them from 4 wheel parts. It's a hesco High flow housing http://www.hesco.us/shop.asp?action=details&inventoryID=43007&catId=7969 That's a good price ill shoot you a pm!
  15. Let me know where you go to get your gears done, I'm just about at that stage! -Ryan
  16. Looks like a blast! Should have my truck on the road the end of this month can't wait to head up there!
  17. Damn thats cheap! If you hear anything let me know.
  18. I was trying to retain some sort of front fender flare, I'm slowly realizing that might not be an option. Nick, do you know anyone that does gears?
  19. Small update: High flow T-Stat housing installed Dirt Bound fans installed, these things are sweet! Cut the fenders hopefully that will be all they need Have to install these shiny wheel spacers that should bring the rear width to where it needs to be.
  20. As far as I know the only company that makes them for the MJ. http://www.rocky-road.com/cherokee-xj-rock-sliders.html
  21. Great find on the temp gauge, didn't even know something like that existed and the pod gauges look sweet!
  22. My tube is litteraly disinegrating haha.
  23. E-brake lines will be different, I know some people have modded their MJ ones to work but when i did my swap I opted for all new cables, the Explorer cables have a little loop on the end that wraps around the ebrake hook, MJs don't have that. The rest of the fittings should be the same if I remember correctly.
  24. Same here never been there though, looks nice.
