  1. Thought I was missing something.
  2. Replaced the starter relay today but it's still not clicking. Battery is fully charged, tighted and cleaned the cables, checked the ignition switch again and the truck does the same thing. I couldn't locate the neutral safety switch, I'm not really sure what I'm looking for.
  3. Battery cables seem fine. Could it be something with the ignition lock switch or like motion said the neutral safety switch?
  4. I pulled the whole dash to do the heater core, didn't mess with any wiring, I was thinking a relay too but what one would that be?
  5. I'll check that but it literally started fine yesterday for some reason but now just does the same thing again. Could that still be the starter?
  6. Battery is fine i checked that, truck was in neutral, no clicking from starter it started fine a few days ago and started fine before I took the dash out and put it back in.
  7. I've been at this all week switching switches, checking wires and I'm puzzled.
  8. Bought a new switch and threw it in, started fine the first time and then started doing the same thing again. I'm totally lost and frustrated at the moment.

  11. Thanks for the reply i'll give that a shot tomorrow, I should add the battery is fine and no clicking from the starter but I had no issues a few weeks ago starting it.
  12. I finished putting the dash back together today and finished the open cooling system conversion and when I went to start it I turned the key to the on position, everything came on but when I turn it to the start position I lose power to the dash (radio, clock) and I'm assuming to the ignition itself since the truck doesn't start now. Any idea whats causing this?
  13. what was wrong? i have the same issue :hmm: I ended up replacing the headlight switch and everything worked fine after that
  14. Little update, weather was warm so I took full advantage. Out with the old and in with the new. I'm converting it to an open system so i had to use the new style heater valve Also got some parts to finish up the interior This, unfortunately is my temporary fix until I can some how some way find some new B-pillar trim pieces, the PO cut massive holes to fit speakers. Made up this piece to cover the back of the cab. installed with the amp. And now the interior is nearly finished. Just have to figure out what to do with the seats and take it to a headliner place once shes on the road.
