  1. no, the one he's looking at is a sport. the stripes are correct. answer to question, yes, it is ripe for the purchasing.
  2. all of them. then you can continue to think you're cool
  3. yup. he's just powerless to make anything happen with the issue. and yes, I could do that. I happen to have a couple two-valve towers that we removed from stores when we changed out equipment that I'm rebuilding, for that purpose. I figure I can make a bag-in-box pump, the tower, and another bag-in-box pump and set it up with say, OJ and vodka and ratio out the valves to make a nice little screwdriver :P
  4. automan, I work for Ken's Beverage, installing coca-cola self serves and drive thru units and everything applicable to the operations thereof. this includes coffee equipment etc. at all of the McDonalds and other fast food and ma and pa resturants. I go out of state on installs, etc. but recently we've been doing reverse osmosis tank inspections for any manufacturer defects...hence the long time out and the couple hundred stores out there. Guys, I spoke with the H.R. office multiple times today, and they said that Ken's won't cut me the check. I was very nice up to that point, and said thank you very much. I said that I have documents showing my hours worked for the week I did not recieve pay, and I expect everything to be in order to the penny, and accurately showing my hours. I left it at that. ATM I need the job and am not going to put it in jeopardy. My boss (who is a friend of mine outside of work...from prior to working there) understands exactly what will happen if I get screwed over even more on this, or ever again. *shrug*. push comes to shove, I work there until the summer is over, and just go back to school...fafsa covers my complete tuition and I get around $1500 back, so a part time job and I'd be set. Thanks Guys. -Pat
  5. Thanks guys. I'm at the office right now, just finished an install, and waiting to speak with my boss (supervisor doesn't care at all) about it. shelby, I appreciate it, but I don't wish to do anything like that. I'm trying to avoid any other debt than what I currently have...I feel better knowing I don't owe people money. Thanks, Pat
  6. k, so then i should be expecting you guys late morning, early afternoon. mm. expect us about 5 hours from whenever I find out paychecks are in, drive 45 min. to the office, grab it, drive 45 min. back, cash it, and leave.... that said, I can offer no time frame. could be 1pm, could be 7pm. i don't know.
  7. I worked 143 hours the week before memorial day, and have over $500 in personal work-related expenses (i.e. my alotted $$$ for food, parts expense, and having to buy a digital camera due to the fact that work neglected to give me one, and I don't have keys to the camera locker and had to leave after office hours) I was out of state. When out of state, we send our expense reports/hours sheets in saturday morning via fedex drop off, and must have it in the drop box in the A.M. I did all of this. we use fedex next day air...should be there next business day by 10:30AM. so. memorial day occured that following monday. obviously it wouldn't show up until Tuesday. It didn't. Our hours and expenses are forwarded to the main office in Illiniois to go through payroll. obviously, it missed the cut-off. My boss noticed this, and knew I'd worked at least 40 hours. he told me I'd get those 40 hours from what I worked, and the rest would be on the next pay check. not a big deal, I just need the 95 hours to cover my bills seeing as it's the beginning of the month. Well, pay day was Friday. they only payed me 40 hours reg. pay and 15 hours OT from the week before I worked a 143 hour work week. I was not given the 40 hours, as I had been told. so, I got a $470 pay check. my bills are $700, due within the next 5 days between all of the bills. I also have need to get money out to a couple people I owe, and had alotted for that from this pay check with the rest to go into savings. At the moment, I can't cover even half of my bills, I'm left with $0 for the next two weeks, and don't want to borrow money from any relatives to get through. It's not a question of whether I can pay them back...This month I will net around $4500 after taxes due to a raise and having alot of jobs scheduled. I was talking to TNT earlier and he told me that, by law, they MUST cut me a check immediately for it, due to the fact that it is a holiday week (for some reason or other I feel that this makes sense :hmm: ?) What do you guys think? I'm in a bind, and this was the pay check to get me all squared up and I was actually going to finish paying off school with this check, and also pay the state what I owe them for probation fees seeing as I'm done with that (thank God for that learning experience....even more so for the end of proving I learned something  ) in a few days. I seriously need help....I don't know what to do. Can I force them to cut the check now, or am I pretty much screwed into waiting another two weeks? one thing to consider: our paychecks come from Illinois. I live and work in WI. I don't know if that makes my paychecks abide by Illinois laws, or WI laws. Thanks, Pat

    I'm mad

You expect us to believe that? Not even a single one? Sorry, just razzing you. Bad habit of mine. ;) I keep a savings account. In it I (try to) keep one normal pay check. So if a pay check end up being late for whatever reason (more and more often as of late), I still have the money to pay my bills. Currently it's a little low again because of unforeseen circumstances, but still enough to pay the mortgage, which is my single largest monthly payment. Took me a while to get it built up, but I've been glad I did on more than one occasion. lol. I can count the times I've drank on one hand, and I can count the number of drinks I've had on two hands. so going from not remembering the first three months of college at all to that is pretty darn good I'd say... and yeah, I've been trying to get a savings account going. but I can't save while I'm digging myself out of a decent size hole, and when I'm irresponsible with $$$ anyways when it comes to jeeps. that's changed...haven't spent any cash out of pocket on jeeps in a good month and a half

    I'm mad

Care to elaborate? :D Rob L. got in with the wrong crowd in college, did some dumb things while drinking. nothing of what I did had anything to do with another person, so no it wasn't a crime against a person or persons. I haven't drank in two years, and I'm very thankful for the experience...have learned quite a bit but it has been a roller coaster ride, trying to pay everything up (especially school...I was forced to leave for the duration of probation and so now I am paying back all of my loans, which add up to quite a bit for someone who hasn't finished their majors and doesn't have a great paying job). *shrug*. the whole experience is just the big guy's way of telling me to knock it off.

    I'm mad

That's better than me. I worked over 120 hours last week. was out of state, so fedex overnight my expense report back Saturday A.M. in a drop box with a saturday 10am pickup (or so the box said???). memorial day screwed that all up. my expense report didn't show by tuesday, our cutoff day. so I have $500 in personal expenses out, and $120 or more hours I didn't get payed. I only got payed 54 hours for the week before, and that was under $500. my bills amount to $700, and I still owe the department of corrections $320 and I get off paper this thursday after two years. I payed what bills I could (which were already put off one week due to being out of state and unable to pay) especially car insurance (have to...brother is on my insurance with his xj, and he's got a form of epilepsy so I cannot shrug that off) and I'm still $200 short, $0 to live for the next two weeks, which probably doesn't matter because if I can't pay $320 by thursday, I get to go to jail for awhile. WOOHOO FML
  11. sorry dave, that's prep weekend. Wade, I won't be leaving until later now...I got screwed on my paycheck this pay check and didn't get payed for over 100 hours that I worked last week, so I only made less than enough to cover some of my bills :( I gotta pick up my paycheck that morning and get it cashed out right away.
  12. it's possibly an ax15, but more likely to be a ba10/5
  13. yeah I'm going that friday morning. don't know if you want to do that too or just wheel on saturday. we're following you up on friday most likely. if all goes well, we'll have the 40 ft gooseneck and the duramax, so we'd trailer both rigs down. if that's the case, we may be leaving when steve gets back from work (around midnight/1am) because then he can sleep on the way down. otherwise, we may leave later too *shrug* idk. I'm wheeling sunday until 6pm then heading home BTW. may as well get as much as possible in while I'm there. Two Questions: Will either of you have a spare seat in your MJ? :dunno: :clapping: Would you mind filling said seat with a "Cheesehead in Training"? I'll MOST LIKELY (Let me check with the new job first, I start work on Monday so I don't know yet) have nothing going on and would love to tag along if you two don't mind... - Take Care beaterjeep may be coming with me, if all works out. my brother will probably have room in his xj however, and we can play musical passengers. so pretty sure you can come with :D

  15. IP address change every time your PC gets turned on after being off for awhile. it is dependant uppon your router and ISP, not your computer. that's your network IP. your computer also has a personal IP so that you can identify it on a network.
  16. the AMC show meet and greet the weekend of the 7th is a NO-GO for me. wade and I are wheeling at the badlands the following weekend, and I need to get both my rig and my bro's rig ready for the run. feel free to tag along. the badlands run is june 12-14
  17. yeah I did. they actually looked decent with the black. I just got my sister's bf to order a set of the regular ones for his cherokee. giving him my nice h4's to replace the crappy ones with. he asked me to hook up the small ones to his strobe system...he's a full time EMT in 4 different states (right on the WI/IL/MN/IA border) and so these small lights will come in handy for his strobe system.
  18. chock up another agree to Sir Sam
  19. yeah, they changed the listing a couple years ago after I bought mine and b*#ched up a storm about them. they ended up refunding my cash.
  20. k. I hope you have other things to finish working on in the meantime. it will be several weeks before I even get to stripping the truck down.
  21. it's probably not stripped. the problem you're probably having is that you're not getting the phillips head screwdriver into the screw head. it's actually pretty hard to get it on the head of the screw in there... get a flashlight and look inside of it then guide the screwdriver in. this may seem impossible, but it's not.
  22. um. not that great is an understatement. just to completely deter you from them, I wired up a relayed system with 12g wiring and one relay per beam setting (one hi, one low) in an attempt to get these to work. When that didn't make them acceptable (i.e. my small keychain laser pointer/flashlight STILL showed brighter than the headlights), I upgraded to a set of bulbs ($50 for them...good quality h4's) and that STILL didn't work. these headlights are worthless. but they look great :D had them in my black/chrome 86 xj for a total of two days
  23. add-a-leaf, spring over axle. Pete to answer your question I think he's on stock suspension w/o lift with a 350 in it. billybob In a couple weeks I'm tearing apart another comanche and should have a set of leafs left over. you can also have your rear springs repaired. IIRC they can "re-coil" the eyes and temper them a bit to keep them from ovaling out again.
  24. looks like fun. who's the guy in the zj grand cherokee? pretty sure I saw him at the last badlands run I was at....that thing's a pile of mis-engineered CRAP with completley pointless longarms and close to as much flex as my 3" lifted 86 with 31's lol.
  25. xmen:wolverine was GREAT though it didn't quite keep to the comics, Taken was GREAT and there was another action movie, can't remember it right now but it was GREAT too. but ya drag me to hell just has a hot chic in it who gets to spend eternity pole dancing in a firy abyss
