I look a dog with the mange if I try to grow a beard... Can grow a stach and a goatee but by cheeks are patchy as hell. It looks awful. :ack:

My Comanche with 4.56 gears in it will pull its self off in first gear.... 3rd gear in 4wd low. :D

Sounds way more complicated than just letting out on the clutch and giving it some gas. Try feathering the gas. Almost like tapping it, let out till the clutch till it catches. In a week you will be driving it like nothing. Hill or no hill. I wouldnt over complicate it like a woman would do though. Or you bro in-law. Keep at it and you will have it down NP.

I really like the look of this truck....

3.25 around the Roanoke Virginia area. 3.39 for no ethonol gas.

No, I wouldnt say its hard to turn in 4wd. I just figured it pushed a tiny bit because all 4 wheels are locked.

Something crazy is going on in my front end. Went to turn on my road and when I turned the wheel, the truck didnt turn like it was supposed to. Then it made a LOUD pop and then it turned. Making sharp turns in 2wd makes one hell of a noise up front with violent sounding pop. In 4WD I don't have that problem. Any ideas on what that might be? I was wondering if maybe it had something to do with the locker. :help: Got bored this weekend and decided to paint the tail lights. Sorry for the poor quality pic. :)

They have a life time warrenty.... I would be trying to return them for replacements. I bougth some from the same company and have not had any problems.

Thanks for the kind words buddy.... After searching the interweb for hours I found the bumper on Autoplicity for 789.00 with free shipping. It feels really sturdy, the only down fall is where the winch goes. Its made for a Warn winch. So you really have to be careful on which winch you buy so it will fit. But other than that I am really happy with the truck.

These are as close up as I have currently. I you would like I can take a few more closer for you. This was my wife's mothers day present. This started much like a Comanche project. (start as a small thought and end up costing you a pile of $$$$$ and work) She just wanted one of those cheap a$$ fire pits from Lowes. But it was 200.00. I told her I could build a nice one for 200.00. And this is what we ended up with. Just a tad over budget. I have 200.00 in the mulch behind it. LOL

That is a Sam's club special. 259.00 and its actually pretty sturdy. Pain in the a$$ to put together. LOL But my little girl just loves it. And a happy daughter makes for a happy daddy.

I thought most Jeep guys hated Toyotas is why its never been brought up. Be like putting a Ford motor in a Camaro.... :thwak:

Thank you sir.... I like the bumper too. Really needs some Bush Wackers to set the look off though. IMO

 Thanks buddy!!!!!

Here are a few pictures of the bumper and of course we got the CC sticker put on. Lots of progress since I first got her just over a year ago. Gotta rep the Comanche Club Few pictures of the new bumper

Got the bumper installed but the winch will not fit. Gonna have to break down and get a Warn I guess. I got a good deal on the XRC10 for 125.00 and hate to pass it up though. Also looks like the RMS is still leaking. We got in it yesterday with lights and looked it over for a good 30 minutes, cleaned it up on the bottom real good, fired it up and drip, drip. So, Mr. Mechanic has a RMS to do on his money this time. Will post some pictures this evening when I get home of the manche with its new bumper on. I think it looks good. So here is how the project will go from here. Get that RMS fixed and all the leaking gone. I cannot stand a leaking truck. Drive it..... I have been without it for about 3 months and I plan on driving the hell outta it. All this dag on money in it I am going to drive it. . :MJ 1: . This fall after I save a little money the floor pans will be next on the big projects. I really have to find someone around here I can trust to do the work and not rip me a new one. While doing this I want so swich over to buckets too. Depending on how money looks I may just stick with my bench. Its pretty comfortable. ;) Then spray in bed liner and some BW flares. This will keep me broke for the next 6 to 8 months I am sure.

Figured since my newest "money pit project" is my yard I will post a few pics here. Project Fire Pit. This is after several hours of cleaning before i thought about taking a picture. Making a little progress. Clearing up a freaking thick mess 40 feet of boarder to seperate the mulch and the pea gravel There she is full of block. My buddies helping me get my block level. This morning raining like crazy before work. Still have to put the caps on and border and pea gravel every where you see the brown Project Playhouse This is about 3 months ago durinig a period where we recieved almost 3 inches of rain in an hour. I don't have any pictures but we done some major drainage digging and should have this straightened out. Orginal plan for the playhouse area. Hauling her first load of mulch with new gears. Side view almost finished. Almost done. 3 loads of mulch and 10 landscaping timbers later. Finished product. That little house was NO FUN for daddy. Finally one happy little girl.

Few more pictures of the Comanche doing work. The start of a "half day vacation from my real job" Loaded down with 35 retaining wall block After 4 loads of mulch in the back. All those block and a butt load of digging here is the results. Still have to cap the fire pit and pea gravel but thanks to the Comanche we are making progress.

Just wanted to add a couple pics. I know we all would rather see pics than read. ;) ARB bumper taking its ride to the garage. My buddy is going to hook me up while I am on vacation next week. Have a smittybuild XRC 10 to mount on there. Tatton front drive shaft Mulch and landscaping timbers that the Comanche brought home to work my back out. My baby girl playing in her house that the Comanche brought home for daddy to play hell putting together.
