    Check this out

I paid 400 for my real MJ. Just seems so weird that the little toy cost that much when the real thing was almost the same price. Its a cool toy though I will give it that! :)

    Check this out

Is that $2,254 USD? NO THANKS! lol I could buy at least 3 or 4 real MJ's for that!
  4. My trackbar was causing that same issue, lots of trackbars cause that issue, have someone aggressively turn steering wheel back and forth (turn the ignition key only enough to unlock the steering) and see if you can see "play" on either end of the trackbar. Good luck, I hate steering problems!

    HAPPY St. Pattys!

I had a beer and a half, I usually am drunk as a skunk.. even when its not St. Patty's day. But I have a few more days on some meds that suggest I shouldnt drink so I decided to be a good boy. Still was a fun St. Patty's day, I made up for not drinking by eating a ton of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes. Not feeling any ill effects today, I guess that is nice too.
  6. since you said 4th gear I will give it a stab... by starting simple, hopefully not insulting you in the process :) 4th gear could mean highway speeds, what condition are your tires in, are they balanced? could the belts be going in them?

    What Radio to Buy?

You mean the $1,799 Pioneer AVIC-N3...? your heart must beat liquid gold brother! Thats the one indeed. I am buying a caddy cts (dd) and I showed my wife that radio and told her thats whats going in it. You should have seen her face, lol! She freaked out and pointed to the 350 dollar garmin and just asked why.... So I told her by selling the TJ I could save that much easy a year in repairs alone. And I don't think I will have much more to spend on the caddy as they come pretty well equiped.

    What Radio to Buy?

I too love JVC, I would buy the Pioneer DVD/NAVI unit in a heart beat though.
  9. I was just on UNUM's Short term disablility but that is provided to me through my employer (though I think I pay for it bi-weekly). Honestly, you probably don't have HR to go to, but my HR was a ton of help to me. and that weight bearing bone thingy..... you don't need it - give your doctor a crazy look and smash a beer can on your forehead. :D

    My Big Dilemma

I don't know how much your looking at spending to restore, but I would look at the cost involved with getting your rusty one restored to the point of 2wd one you don't own, seeing as you have all the components you need to make the 2wd 4wd if it seems like you save money I would do it.
  11. sooo.... thats a no on the viagra then?
  12. Thought I would add some spam... maybe it was a dumb joke, sorry.
  13. Anyone want to buy some viagra? lol
  14. I am guessing Texas.
  15. I was counting wrong and I didnt know about the different grills, interesting. Sorry for kinda hi-jacking your build thread, I can clean up my posts if youd like :)
  16. I thought MJ's were 7 slots also, am I counting wrong?
  17. looks good, but you should go with 7 slots on the grill. 8)
  18. famous last words.... anyone?
  19. I agree I like the woody sides! and both of those MJ's are very nice looking! Welcome to the board!
  20. You can be mad over a week, I was, I had no idea it would take as long as it did. But get healthy! thats important.
  21. lol, they do look nice!
  22. Yes I am keeping the MJ, I have a lot of work to do with it, but hopefully I start feeling good enough to work on it soon. I know this is wrong, but the pioneer DVD/NAVI unit must get purchased for the Caddy before I do much to the MJ. Priorities.
  23. Today was my first day back to work after over 20 days off, and only the 3rd time I drove in a month. It all started with little stomach pains that turned into bigger ones, and then a few trips to the emergancy room and several doctors visits and a few surgerys and lots and lots of drugs and now I am still not 100% but I am good enough to work and drive. I am diagnosed with colitus/crohn's disease. That said, my TJ is now for sale because it's too bumpy for me to drive an hour one way to work. Hurts too much. And I will be buying a Cadillac CTS to replace it. Weeeee! Worst part is I don't want to sell the TJ.
  24. My TJ had this problem and its not that old, had to replace the positive battery cable that went to the fuse box, and replaced the battery terminals. Fires up everytime now!
  25. saw your bike project too, always wanted to do one... has that come along at all?
