    help build my city

    need more hits
  2. hf tools are hit or miss. personally i would just rent one from autozone for free (well a deposit that you get back) or use a torch to get them out
  3. but i love my tj. i chose the base model SE with the 2.4 liter 4 banger and a 5 spd. it has no options. it came without a factory radio. and its great.
  4. basically its like drving a tin can. very purpose built obviously. if he doesn't realize that he shouldn't drive a wrangler. he is coming from a bmw made car, quiet and quick. so he needs to know he is drving a loud, slow, gas guzzling turd. water leaks should be expected. about 15 mpgs max. tire noise rough ride etc. but they are fun. and he should NEVER leave anything valuable in it. it doesn't matter if it has an alarm or not or if he locks the doors etc.
  5. yeah it bumps the idle up to give you more charging power from the alternater so you can run larger electrical loads without draining the battery
  6. its 10mm metric thread. any honda shift knob that threads on will work. ask me how i know :D
  7. i have to keep my tools organized otherwise i will lose them, then buy new ones and spend money i don't have. here is my tool box and a sample of one of the drawers
  8. american cars get smaller with smaller engines, while japanese cars have gotten bigger with bigger engines. thats why gas milegae is crap. if honda still made comuter cars like pre 92 they would be getting easily 50mpg. my friend had a 90 crx hf with aftermarket ac installed. he got 48mpg highway with the ac on. i would get 37 city in my old 90 hatchback.
  9. so with the doubler setup 231 to 231. how do you shift it now? is there custom linkage 2 levers or what?
  10. i have been hearing about transfer case doublers lately the np231 to another 231. this seems like an interesting setup to me. does anyone have info on how this works, like how you shift them into low range, or would it work with like a tera low 4:1 and the factory 2.7 in the other, to get a nice range in gearing. benefits to this setup compared to say an atlas?

    help build my city

basically yeah. the more clicks the bigger the city, but it doesn't help if you just keep clicking over and over again, it only registers 1 new person per ip address perday or something like that.
  14. click this link to add more popualtion  http://jeepin.myminicity.com/tra
  15. they are good cars, and the engines are decent. but on that design the cat is right by the timing cover so it heats the oil and burns it basically into the timing cover/ chain area. now as soon as you remove the timing cover for work, carbon falls directly into the oil pan and will not get out and you motor is screwed. the same engine is availbe in chargers and 300's in rwd. they are simple to work on and no sludge problems like those years.
  16. i just run mopar filters since i work there :D but i don't use fram. i did use fram in the past and never had problems but i don't now
  17. http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthread.php?t=75601 time for a turbo

    stupid idea

then it would absorb water hold moisture and rust apart even faster
  19. i run factory mopar 090 filters. but i also work at the dealership 8) they fit almost every chrysler/dodge/jeep made
  20. r12 is better. r134a is more enviromentally friendly, but still not good. i think r12 can cool your car about 10* cooler but it makes a huge difference.
  21. looks like you jeep needs to pee really bad :D
  22. i used iridium plugs in my honda, they were fine, but never in a 4.0

    mahindra

looks like a rhino with doors. but i like it and i will buy one if the price is right around 15k or less than 20k
  24. 2.4 tj 5 spd. its a stratus engine. i only got 22 highway while drafting off semi's all the way from ohio through PA. but going average speed of 75 mph.
  25. haha, my TJ gets 22 on the highway doing 70-80 drafting behind semi's on the turnpike my jeep runs great, no need for a tune up. but i did use synthetic gear oil so maybe that will help out some. but i am not complaining about mpg's, just want more
