There is a connector about above the rear axle on drivers side. Disconnect there and probe with a circuit tester to see if elec is present when ligts are on, when brake is depressed, and when turn signal are operating. Shoot some contact cleaner in the holes to clean it up a bit. If there is no elec present the problem is up front somewhere. If you have elec there then more than likely the problem is in the rear section of wiring. Start by checking the ground behind the DS tailight (remove light to get to it). Sometimes that screw gets rusted up or the wire breaks and loses ground capability. If its good then start looking for shorts in the rest of that section of wiring between the two lights. Good luck. By the way, where were you wiggling the wires, front or back end?

I had that problem uploading pics from PB also if I selected the (img) deal-a-bob when trying to post. Finally found out if I didn't bother to use img and just hit paste it works fine. Hope you understand that. :doh:

That thing will leave imprints in your roof unless you have a strong eave mounted rack on top. Tie an inflated raft up there and set it on it. Oh hell, spend a buck or two and rent a tow dolly and balance it on it. Or ignore this comment and do it your way...................- :thumbsup:

Lost to many OEM hubcaps on rough roads over the years. Not worth replacing except on a street vehicle.

Were those bolts/studs all the same size? What are they, 15mm or? I,m about to start removing an 86 LB. I'm lazy tell me what they are and I won't have to crawl under there but once, I hope. Well make that twice as I'll go under there today with the PB Blaster. Maybe I won't snap as many tomorrow whenI put the torque on em.

Moral of story: Never place trash can below anything of importance. Been there done that a couple times.

About 10 min after I posted this I thought "Ah what the he--" and did it. The guys gonna put it on his dolly and bring it over tomorrow. I'll see what I've really got when I get done with the pressure washer. Right now I'm just leaning toward parting it out. I'll throw some pics up when it gets delivered.

Ran across a 85-86 MJ, 2.8, AT, 2WD, LB, today for $100. Has black upholstery in fairly good shape (top of Dash & Bench Seat shot). No headliner. Chrome grill, bed is in good shape it appears outside and under liner. Oh, it doesn't run, but we knew that didn't we. I really don't need anything off of it but I might be able to turn a profit on some parts and tinker around in the garage this winter with it. Think I'll buy it for the he-- of it.
