They are not much on phone talk and Beau is who you want to deal with. I asked about a V8 8.8 with brakes and price was $109 with brakes. But I have always just asked for the axle and they came with the brakes.
-
Let me check today, I got a 8.8 back in Nov for the MJ with everything for $90 Front axle missing the caliper and axle on one side for $30 in Nov And another axle for a Astro van for a guy at work with everythig for $90 in Feb. Charles

If I get a chance I will stop by and check on the price today. If they take them off now, I will get the core charge as they sale the calipers for $10 each. Charles
-
Who did you talk to? They have a 30 day warranty on them. And the 3 axles I have got over the past 4 months came complete. Charles

Will the MJ set up work on the ZJ, Maybe my son and I can switch out the one in my wifes ZJ when she is not looking, she will not wheel it  or even let us near it :D Charles
-
NO not a pick - n - pull, they will load it in your truck for that price :D Here is the link, I do 90% of all my used stuff with them as they are only 11 miles away  http://www.marshallsautoparts.com/ Charles

Marshalls has them for $90. Came with the calipers when I got it back on Nov. and you can turn in your D35 on it. Your not more then a few hours away from them. Charles

Well just can not force myself to go back down on the MJ so the kid will have to learn to wheel on my Ranger and the MJ will be ready to go down the road. Here are some photos after we put the front end parts I got off 89MJay Sure looks like the caster is way off  Lot of body work to start on soon :chillin: Charles -
Also did you notice the reporter marked the roll over valve on the fuel pump and not the fuel filter in front of the tank on the ZJ:eek: Charles

A friend took her XJ to one last spring, they had a shift change in the middle of her oil change and it got filled by both the guy that started it and the guy that finished it. She made it 1/2 block :headpop: and it's in court now to see who is going to buy the new engine. Charles

That is the key to a semi painless axle swap, :D a painless axle swap is findsome with air tools, a 2post lift and a high lift trans / axle jack. Takes about 1 hr  Also with that setup you can replace the UCA /LCA's in about 30 min. Charles

Thanks, I will be by a Harbor Freight in the morning, I will pick one up and try. Charles

Thanks, I will give it a try. Charles

Thanks, Maybe I will get a ZalSaw and look at a Plasma cutter down the road. Charles
-
No, went from the JY XJ to the MJ. Charles
-
How do you cut things out like floor pans, rockers, fenders and the likes. Plasma cutter, oxy acetylene , cutoff wheels, saw??? We have a lot to cut out and replace on the MJ and ZJ along with a few other projects. Already have the cutoff wheels and a jig saw, but want something better for all I have to do. I have had a oxy acetylene setup, should have kept it  Never used a Plasma cutter and do not want to take much $$$ away from the MJ project. So should I get: 1. Good Saw Zal 2. Oxy acetylene 3. Plasma cutter 4. Use what I have and use the $$$ on the MJ Charles

When I went with the 8.8 in the back I dumped the valve in the back and the return line. Both lines from the master hooks up in the same set up as the old MJ, The out put lines are as followes. F/R out back end of P valve, L/F out of bottom rear output, and rear out of bottom front output. Charles
-
No leaks, no crossed lines. Charles

I put a XJ proportioning valve on the MJ and have little to no brakes. I hooked the lines in as they were in the MJ, but have no pedal and not much pressure at all 4 bleaders no matter how much I blead the system. I am thinking air may have got into the master but wanted to check if anyone had any problems with the XJ proportioning valve first. Charles
