  1. You are never suppose to reuse U-Bolts. They are a stretchable bolt just like a head bolt. Once they are used they strech to insure a strong tight bond and will not back out. Once they are used once and stretched the bolts are compromised.
  2. That and the voltage going to the starter are things I will be able to do tomorrow. So I will update then with that info
  3. Yes was replaced the same time the exhaust was. About 1500 miles ago.
  4. Yes it is. And this prob persisted before the install of the switch. I just now posted it. It always starts, just take a long long time of cranking before starting after running around in it for a while.
  5. I had the compression checked by a shop about a year ago for the head gasket. The told me there were no problems. That was less than 1000 miles ago. The fuel pressure regulator is new and the injectors but I haven't checked it with a guage. How do I go about doing that? I really hope it is not compression issue. The truck only has 105k on it. I will try to check the voltage on the starter soon.
  6. 1988, 4.0, auto, 4x4 cps was replaced about 500 miles ago with a oem MOPAR one.
  7. My mj is getting harder and harder to start after it has been running around town. I'll turn it off, get in it a few mins later after I have ran in a store or somthing and it cranks and cranks and cranks, taking anywhere from 30 sec to a min of cranking to start. Any ideas? Is the starter just getting weak. Also it takes a few secs to start after it's been sitting over night also.

  10. Switch on the left is the fuel and starter switch on the right is acc ( Radio, ect) this is the kill switch wired to a relay inline with the starter. Flip it off and it won't start.

  20. Ok, so here in the next month I'm lifting my mj again, this time with long arms and I am going to replace the 32s I have with 35s. So Ill be ready to jump on a new set of rims and rubbers. But, I need some help. I'm trying to find some rims I like and I found a picture of a set I really like but can't track down any information on them. If any of yall have seen these rims or have any information in them could you please help me out and let me know. Thanks. Here are the rims.
  21. I would love a true cowl hood but have come to the realization that financially my only option would be to make my own.... How I want it. I don't have the time or tools to do that now however. So I installed some datsun 280z hood louvers on mine and they do the job good. Heat pours out of them on hot summer days while on the beach.
  22. VERY COOL!!!! Looks like it was made very well too. Hopefully that thing will last and be handed down to her daughter or son.
