Not that many old vehicles up here to salvage from, unfortunately. I rely on Comanche Club for a lot of my parts... I was mainly concerned about the grille and headlight surrounds, I can't bring myself to like the 10 slot.

That looks exactly like mine, down to the tach @ 2000. Was the key off? Still trying to figure out why it does that.

Did they put the manual trannys in the CRDs? (It would make sense to me if they did) I know they stopped offering them all together after the first year of the current generation Liberety. Anyway, whats the transmission status on this particular CRD you acquired? M/T or Auto? All CRDs came with an auto. That part about making sense should have told you that DC -wouldn't- do something like that. :D

Is this going to be another flipped vehicle or is it going to be a project? Love following your work.

Can't tell you how thrilled I am to have the model year that nobody knows anything about :rotf: I can't believe I'm trolling craigslist for XJ donors already. All I wanted to do was spraybomb this thing and use it in the winter.

Mine's just kind of a rough ride noise, not a super noticeable vibe.. except at 45. That's pretty noticeable. What were the O'Reilly's part numbers for the repair? Just a pair of u joints and stud kits?

Describe the vibe? I have something like that on mine, and I think I need to do the same and/or wheel bearings. edit: when you're safe at home of course :eek:

I know you don't have money to shotgun parts at this thing, but what items have you actually replaced on it? Are the plugs new? Are they gapped correctly? Does the cap and rotor look new from the outside or have you pulled it to look at the contacts inside?

New valve cover and the oddest gasket I've ever seen. Ziptied the reverse light harness away from the exhaust. Inspection maybe?

Hahah.. the parts are red? That's what I'm trying to get rid of. :rotfl2: Red and blue are the two worst interior colors in history.

Is it a C-clip D35 in the MJs?

This the same 3.0 CRD that they offered for a year here in the States?

No kidding? Wow. Tailgate's just the main thing I need. Interior stuff I could use too. Window wipes Center console for bench Dash surround E brake parts... you know how it goes. The donor truck for my steering column and tranny is still out in Willow, and supposedly there's one for sale out by Nancy Lake.

That is very true....its once you start ordering big stuff it gets costly. Sometimes shipping is more than the parts you order I'm in AK. I feel your pain.

Is that you Comancheman? :chillin: I need a tailgate, if you have a line on one. I'm out near Eklutna. I managed to fix the starter issue. Wire wasn't on tight enough.
