Mine don't work. My fuse panel is full of brand new fuses and all. And while on the topic of small stuff like this, where the bloody hell are the speakers? The PO told me the radio didn't work, I pulled it out, but haven't found any speakers in the entire truck! Where are they normally located?

The cable broke right at the handle, so my dad and I pulled it out, and just reattached the handle and hung it between the rad and the grille. pure functionality.

the sumbtch just broke! Now I'm on my laptop, outside, using pete's instructions to get the front end apart.

One floor, happily put in and the LiquidSteel is drying. Tomorrow I'm going to throw the seat in and paint it.

the city has also gone at me over my mj sitting in the driveway for weeks, city-fellow wanted to hear it run or was going to fine me, so I rolled it over and it spit oil all over him. god I love my MJ :)

you guys are awesome, my autoshop teacher also said check grounds and replace the flashers and it'll fix it, so thats whats on the plate this week :)

the old bulbs still work, I just replaced them for the hell of it. The reverse lights are fine, and the tails come on nice and bright when I push the 4way flasher button on the column, but the front end is also flashing dimly when i throw on the turn signals, I never touched a thing on the front end in the way of lightbulbs.

I did replace the bulbs, but with the proper bulbs from the Haynes manual. there's this little metal rectangle, feels like lead, is kinda loose sitting on the bottom of my fuse panel, looks like someone kicked it reaching for the clutch. I'm going to replace the hzard flasher, Ive replaced all the fuses, and the one for the turn signals is in backwards, not that it should matter.

pardon my ignorance, where should I look for that? I'm going to replace the hazard flasher if I can't find whatever else is wrong.

odd thing is, I had the bulbs out, reseating the taillights and when I was working on the floor, I smacked the 4way button on the column. Before then, the lights worked fine. now they won't. defective hazard flasher?

Ok, this is a mind-twiddler. My turn signals are dim and flash at the same time, doesn't matter whcih side I flick the stalk to. but if I hit the 4way flasher button, all 4 are nice and bright and flash like normal. what the hell is wrong?

what if the hood release cable sticks in the open position? Ive PB blasted the hell out of it, 1 in 5 times I go to close the hood, it won't stay closed and takes a good 10 minutes of playing with the latches and a can of PB blaster to get them to close and latch.,

Both her and i figured that it would be our project... well, we hit rocks and she made me hit the road. She wouldn't leave my MJ, but gladly leave me. So one evening while I was o my way home from work, I biked down my road to see a big blue Dodge Ram, her dad's. With tow chains and a front-end dolly... attached to my goddamn truck. which has no insurance, no plates and no floor. That was an arguement and a half. She leftafter I threatened cops.. 2 days later, my baby was egged.

my ex-girlfriend tried to steal my unplated 'manche off the jackstands with her dad's Dodge Ram Cummins... :D She really loved it, unfortunately she hated me in the deal :P

SWB manches had the smaller tank. my canadian manual says 18 gallons, unless its been swapped out, or he swapped in a mismatched sending unit, it should have the smaller tank.

so far its me and my old man, with a set of torches and a pair of sledge hammers :), he said he did it on an '84 Ford pickup ,hammer and torches. If push comes to shove, I have a buddy at Battlefield equipment rentals that can shove me one under the cnter free of charge

How hard? Ive got oxy-torches at my disposal. me and my dad are going to tackle them this weekend. any advice and instructions will be great.

Dual MJs! You're on the path to MJ success. And at 17 too. I'm hoping the LWB is in decent shape, I'm really hoping. I may do a bit of work and sell the sucker and put some more new parts on my little red MJ. if its not, Parts Truck!
