Kenosha Warrior replied to Kenosha Warrior's topic in The Pub
already checked, no photography allowed >.< I'm psyched, even though its like, 3 months away. -
"ats right, I get to see Slayer in Febuary at Copp's Collesium in Hamilton. Any other slayer fans here? it's my first slayer show, def. not my last, I'm going to try to get into the mosh pit. Unearth is playing with them

we're going to do that to my cuz's old hunting XJ, but I may be doing it to my 'manche.
-
nothing a die-grinder wouldn't fix. I managed to fit Dakota rims on the mj. die-grinded the crap outta the centre till it fit over the dustcap/rotor lip.
-
start it orange/red/green on the nose and fade it to black/green on the back. roughly around the middle of the door start the slanted line where the colour really changes, run it on a line about 45° to the top-corner of the cab.

I'm on a call with a TWC-Road Runner customer in rochester, Extreme4x4 is on in the background, he says they're doing rock-jeeps today, I mentioned I drove a Jeep, he says he owns a few and sells them too. I said what kind, he answers with a flatfender, a cj5, a XJ and a Comanche! says its a mint '88 with an AX-15 and a 207 that he put in himself, a LWB with a black interior he got from an '86. I threw him an email from my company account with the linky to CC :D

My O-ring is ripped. So I only fill it about 2/3rd's the way up. But I have the 23 gallon tank, so I usually can't afford to fill it anymore anyway. $47 canadian to fill it up. Man I wish I payed Canadian prices... That's what, about $3.53 US???? :brows: Let's see, snow storm yesterday gas price jumped 12 cents a gallon(US, not that goofy Imperial crap) today. I'm a SWB '89 :) it'd be a wee bit higher with the LWB tank -

its 5 minute drive to Tyendinega Mowhawk Reservation. no tax on anything, plus a good load of cars (notably old dodges and jeeps) to pick from, a lot of my friends live out there too. -

sinny, I filled up with ultra 94 :), plus, why waste gas to drive that far to fill up for 67cents? its not too economical I normally pay 69c/Litre on the native reservation. -

mine leaks at the sending unit, its dripping nicely outside, I filled it up yesterday, over the past 24hrs its dripped roughly an 8th of a tank. its still dribbling. its ticking me off. I may need to drop the tank and replace the entire thing :( I may not, as it won't leak at roughly 3/4 tank. -

I have a leadfoot :D I already need new tires, Ive had to swap my fronts to my rears, now my steering is wonky. -
I bought an 89 MJ with the inline 150cid (2.5L ) 4 cylinder engine. married to a 4spd stick And to anyone who says the 2.5 has no balls. I can lay longer, fatter, blacker strips of rubber than any other truck or car at my school, with exception to the '68 Bonneville that a kid owns. I can get it to lay black on pavement into 3rd gear. I can spin it on damp pavement into 4th gear I can rooster tail dirt like no other vehicle I've ever driven (That includes an XJ w/ the 4.0L) I love My MJ! and I'd never trade the 4cyl for anything. its got all the balls I need, I wouldn't mind a t-case and 5spd tranny, but if I want that, Ill get an XJ My question is; did a 4cyl 2wd '89 ever come with the Metric Tonne, or a Limited Slip/Positrack from factory? as hard as I try, I can never get just one wheel to spin. always both. and cornering is jumpy, like the wheels are going the same speed, it always clunks around corners.

Rust repair on wheel wells
Kenosha Warrior replied to once red's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I'm ordering a big-assload of POR-15 and a few rolls of Duct tape to do my wheel wells, some silicone and sheet metal too. -
In this case, he doesn't need a hammer 'cause the XJ rear seat is already too small. He needs a stretcher.
