I bought a 89 4.0 new off the lot and sold it in 2000 with 185000, My boy bought the same one back 2 years ago after sitting 4 years in a field.. new battery, fresh gas and it ran.. still drives it, replaced a head gasket. 395000 miles and its a beast with power. -

What to kick Sons A$$, two weeks of trouble shoot signal to fire coil.... Found Main harness ground not attached, He tucked it behind harness so it was not in the way. Never seen it when he put the head back on. Was making a ground for about 1/2 when it ran, then test drove it. Ground not make a connection... on fire to coil or signal too injectors. Replaced CPS, coil, ICM, ECU..$250 down the tolet due to ground wire.

Your at the edge of needing it, But I would get a Adj Track Bar and not the bracket, most kit tell yoou to relocate the TB by drilling a new hole, don't waste you time. $99 for a adj TB

When you replace it. replace it with a ford 8.8 or a D44 not with a D35, you can pickup a 8.8 at any j yard for 100 then switch the back breaks to Roters
