1987 Coolant Reservoir Tank Question
willi2ds replied to istaywikkid's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I'm telling ya the intrepid bottle is one of the cheapest/easiest mods I've done. It gets rid of that cheap a** plastic cap and replaces it with an actual rad cap, it also sits the bottle lower so no more bumping the hood Several of my friends have done the swap and have NO more probs :) -
1987 Coolant Reservoir Tank Question
willi2ds replied to istaywikkid's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I've swapped in a bottle out of a Dodge Intrepid into a couple different jeeps. $10 or so at a yard and comes with a regular rad cap. -
I use a "porkchop" box that sits over the wheel well

Good luck on finding those manual doors, I looked pretty hard for about 6-7 months and found only 1 set and the drivers door was completely hail damaged. The only other ones I've seen were in a couple of two doors that I had to snag the armrests out of. But I'm a cheap sob and have just been scouring only u pull it yards. I think it'll be worth it in the end, I hope lol. Good luck and your truck is coming along nicely.

Disc Brake Conversion... Doing It Right?
willi2ds replied to NotMatt's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
http://www.flickr.com/photos/67584637@N03/8034603692/ Yeah pretty much, I put a bolt in the distro block to plug it and the other end was just unhooked from the original valve. Here's a pic of where I mounted my Adj. Prop Valve. I can just reach in from the wheel well and adj. as necessary. I love it- 16 replies

I'm running a 8.25 with kj discs, I eliminated the 2nd line and put an adjustable prop valve in line, I have 35's and it stops great- 16 replies
