  1. I’m located in Worcester. I feel like there are a decent number of us in the area.
  2. That seems like a pretty good price, too. I paid $55 for a used set not too long ago.
  3. If it has "value" in the name, I tend to stay away from it... LOL I had a Duralast Gold alternator in my J10 when I did the SI to CS alternator upgrade. Has a lifetime warranty, never had an issue with those.
  4. Just took apart the firewall connector, gooped it up with black RTV and put it back together... :)
  5. I did! Thanks again for helping out with that. Still sitting in the bag, haven't had the time to mess around with it.
  6. Heh, can't hurt, right? It rained pretty good last night, didn't see any standing water in the Comanche. I think I've solved the water issue, for now!
  7. Not much happening, been focusing on house renovations, which are almost complete. Ideally, I would like it back together before the snow starts flying, but we'll see. Coverking I purchased for it came in, but I may be getting a ShelterLogic 12' x 20' carport from my girlfriend's dad for free, kinda makes the Coverking obsolete. Ended up purchasing a set of (4) LT235/75R15 General Grabber A/TX tires off of FB Marketplace for $450, barely used, still had the nubs. I guess he put them on a Wrangler and blew the trans in less than 100 miles. Going to put on my mother's spare set of JL tires in the meantime, and get the turbines refinished.
  8. I did a double-take at one of the pictures in that thread: I thought that was an actual Gladiator, lol!
  9. The Ford part # seems to be CC3Z-13A613-B. Debating whether I want to use this one which has a brake light and looks stock, but requires a bigger hole vs. the other one.
  10. I tried looking for something like that for my MJ, do you have a link to where that can be purchased?
  11. Think I'm going to purchase one and check it out in person. What type/thickness of rubber should I get with it to make a gasket?
  12. I want to add a cargo light to mine, might have to go this route. I'm just a stickler for stock-looking parts, and this kinda sticks out to me.
  13. I've got a diesel Gladiator, love it. Eh, just pull the shifter back into 4WD when you think you need it.
  14. I don't see 4 lines coming out of the prop. valve. I see 3 total lines from the picture? Also, you have a picture of the rear where it splits to each wheel, so it seems that each rear wheel isn't on its own from the prop. valve?
  15. Yeah, I have some ultra black RTV I'm going to use. Does it make more sense to do it on the engine-side or the cab-side of the connector? Awesome, thanks for that--I'll definitely use that.
  16. Got around to painting the column with SEM Color Coat, I think it came out great. Made a makeshift paint booth inside the Comanche!
  17. Still looking!
  18. Haven't done much, been busy with some home renovation. Got the steering wheel removed, the switch replaced. Got the ignition back from the locksmith to match the doors + glove box, will need to throw those in. Need to paint the column black as well. Got the maroon dash removed. Decided to take a closer look at the firewall connector, as I think it's leaking from there, and it looks pretty rusty in that area. Took it apart, scuffed it up, and slapped some POR-15 on it. Will RTV the engine-side when I put it back together, and hopefully that will be enough. You can see the big rust spot right below it:
  19. Still looking for the light, don't need the switch
  20. I was able to find a manual regulator at the junkyard for $25. I believe you can get them out of a Cherokee from 84-96.
  21. Interesting, has a fog light + cargo light switch, but doesn't have fog lights nor a bed light.
  22. Yep, mine did the same. Not sure how you’d be able to replace just that piece without taking it out of the door completely though…
  23. That sounds amazing
  24. I'm leaning that way too. I was hoping to do it before swapping the dash, since some of the components that might need to be replaced would be accessible, but it's probably not necessary.
  25. I’m fairly certain the entire system is new, and has never been charged/had refrigerant in it. At least that’s how I understand it, @kryptronic I can definitely rent a set of manifold gauges. I just picked up these two things: If there’s never been anything in the system, can it be filled with R134a? Or is there something else that would need to be replaced? Figured that might be easier than R12a?
