Anyone know if any of the old race Comanches survived? I have seen a lot of old stock photos of the race trucks but nothing recent,.. I am curious how many we're built, buy who and where they are now. Love to know more specs on the mods they did to them as well.

Just as a FYI I own 4 Comanches , none of which I paid more that $900.00 each,.. In fact for the rust bucket $50.00, 90 2wd body damage p/s $300.00 , 90 eliminator no start, weak clutch pedal some rust $500 and a mint garage stored (7 years) $900. All need some work but at least the problems were not hidden and quite plain. I would rather have something less than perfect than buy something that I call a "mop and go" that hides damage or issues and you pay a premium price.

Well I tinkered on the Ranch Manche today,.. checked cold start (AOK!) swapped on a good Tail gate that opened so I could toss a Chrysler 8.25 and D30 into the bed from the 88 DD and my neighbor and I were playing with the clutch pedal. With the cap on you could hear air loss, so he pulled the cap and a few bubbles came out of the reservoir,.. Now we have some pedal pressure but it escapes,... the pedal is low as well, but I did manage to move forward and backward a few times (WHOOT). So it may be air in the line or it there is a leak somewhere, but no visible leaks so far,.. Oh and no power to the A/C or heater motor,... turn the knob and nothing; nada; zilch,.. another day,.. and the E-brake and part time light are stuck on,.. again ,... another day

Mine turned out to be a loose intake bolt,..

May be a dumb question but does anyone know where the last MJ was shipped to?

Just went and took parts of this 88 MJ 4cly, 4x4. It's destined to be crushed, I was going to try and save it but it was way too far gone. For me to say that it's bad,..

I used Hella lamps and some HID kits from www.chandaauto.ca Love them in the TJ and XJ,.. :)

Well I better start a re-build thread on the newest member to our fleet, I name it the "Ranche Manche" as it's sat in a field since 2005. So here we go, first goal make it run $25.00 in fuel and fresh oil and a trust flat screwdriver as the column is all bound up.

My 88 2.5L was doing the same,... It had one loose intake manifold bolt, tightened it up and it's all good

It kidding! I can get free rotors??? How do I do that?

Is there a VIN decoder that will tell me all the details on it? All the ones I googled didn't give any real info on it
