offroader461 replied to JeepcoMJ's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
yea good point i remember when i had lots of bills to pay and wasnt bringing in enough to keep my pants on...lol..fortunatly I'm 22 and am starting with Peoria Police shortly so my addicition will be even bigger when i buy my house and have more storage Yea the 3800 has way more value to yourself than the 89...i honestly would give ya upwards of 3500-4K for it....everything done good and its in great shape....I would buy it but already got my MJ and XJ at the house :D :D -

i would keep the 89 and the 3800 and get rid of the other one you just bought....alot of work just to let her go -
Well this morning i took the MJ down to the shop to have the lockers and new gears installed :D Only thing that sucked was i couldnt drive it all day  but i had the XJ so its was half-way ok.... Got the call about an hour ago and went to pick it up and WOW what a difference...went from 3.07 to 4.10 on my 32's and totally woke the truck up...had him install a Trac-Loc out back and my Loc-Rit up front...have to wait 500mi to take it offroad but i can't wait to get her back on the trails

I'm ditching the D35 in my XJ for a 3.55 8.25 LSD w/29spline alloy shafts for $125...not bad for everything i wanted...correct ratio also...and its the same width as the D35..no need for spacers..
-
yea i can spend an entire paycheck in there if i wanted to :D he always has everything in need and don't need...i help him out and he does the same  UPS should have a freight system that can handle that but I'm not 100% sure...glad i could help

Well i got my new "shoes" for the XJ today...a little close for comfort so here's the question...I'm running a 2" AAL and plan on a 1" shackle to help clear the back but the front has the following: ZJ coils, 1.75 spacer, .75 spacer and factory isolator...is that enought to clear...i plan on removing both front and rear flairs...lemme know Rims: 15x8 w/ 3.75" b/s

Project Hawaii FOUR-O update
offroader461 replied to RiCeMaN's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
:agree: with jeepcomj....front end seems to be pulled back slightly...i would try and push the lowers out a bit more -
c-clip is in the rear differential and its what holds the axleshaft in the carrier...if you break an axleshaft the entire brake assembly, tire and busted part of the shaft will come out of the housing...D35 with anything bigger than 31's are not your friend...save your money for a chryco 8.25 or a 8.8...much stronger and youll be much more happy

Step on brakes, idle rises..
offroader461 replied to DirtyComanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I had a similar problem and when i stepped on my brakes the idle went up and i could hear a hissing...turned out the diaphram in my booster was torn(took it apart after)...my thoughts would be the booster is junk..my $.02
