sounds like the alternator took a crap. i would take it off and take it to the parts store and get em to check it. more then likly the brushes went bad.
have you replaced the springs to? u mite have a broken/worn outone.
edit, by adjusterhardware u mean the springs right? when you replace the shoes, are you making it so the drum barly comes off the shoe right?
you would be better off having a front mount reciever hitch w/ a sqaure hole for a trailer hitch and make the brakcet for the winch were itll go in front or rear.
check w/ the parts store to see if they have one in stock. shouldnt be to expensive. alldata shows 62 bux for a new dealer one and 1.3 hours to replace it so it shouldnt be that hard, ive just never taken one out. ull prob be better off takin it out (tape the glass up so it doesnt fall down on you) and either fixin yours or puttin in a new one.
u can use both grounds off the mj(door and headlight switch) just butt connect them together) thats how i do it in all the universal harnesses(almost ALL pull out headlight switches are the SAME) that way when you turn the switch all the way to the right ill come on w/ the doors closed.
