  8. technically ive never driven mine, cept on the trailer and off, but it wasnt under its own power LOL.
  9. nope. jeeps are 5x4.5 and astro vans are 5x4.75.
  10. funny, I'm junking the pos split rear window(busted anyways) for a solid glass lol.when i get my glass guy to come swap em for me, ill try to snag some pics. also, you have to leave your windows cracked about 2 in to allow pressure of the cab to get out when u shut the doors so the window doesnt pop back out. also put tape from the body to the glass in each corner to keep it in there also.
  11. hmm kidna hard to get lucky w/ no floor in it lol.
  12. haha yea, its gettin all gray from the parts truck SO i don't need burgandy lol. there off on the pass side...
  13. hows that :D thats just the main bracing, 2x3 1/4 wall. gona tie in the floor pan/fire wall w/ some 1 in tube, and 1x1 square stock.
  14. its going to be ALOT of work putting a solid real frame under the uni body truck. I'm keeping mine unibody by boxing in the rails and lots of bracing. your best bet is cutting the whole floor out and making a cage for the floor outa 1x1 square stock or tubing and making holes for body moutns in some plate welded to the floor.I'm hopeuflly gona start on mine this weekend.
  15. i see you p-ut that header panel to use ;)
  16. ive gota ranger steel roll pan that I'm gona check and see if the curves match. ive ben talkin to grant kustoms in northern california about building some but i gota get them the patterns n such.
  17. maybe, depends on how thinck you like to put it on. id get a quart, so if you wana do sumthin else, youll have plenty :D
  18. yea i thought iwas cast iron not cast steel. if it was cast steel then you can weld to it.
  19. theres what you can see of the leafs on my 91 4.0 2wd...
  20. if your looking for cheep cooler, hit up the junk yards, land rover discoverys have one that is almost as big as the stock MJ radiator.
  21. nooooo you can't do that. its not that hard to pull the axles once you take the cover off, BUT they do make C clip eliminator kits from ford racing for them. welding steel tubes to the CAST housing will be quite difficult....
  22. just so you guys know, i bought a "cheep" set of wires for my ranger and it ran crappier, come to find ou the wires were having to much resistance. i love my 9mm low resistance wires.
  23. i vote they bring AMC back. LONG LIVE THE GREMLIN!
  24. yup anything that will absorb will work w/ por 15. if you really wanted it to be super water tight, coat over it w/ a coat of fiberglass resin just lik your fiberglassin but w/ out the matt. it will make it water tite and fill any other pinholes you mite have missed.
  25. how big are the hole(s). if its just pin holes, por 15 and fiberglass mat works really well.
