you will need to hook the TPS, and speed sensor into the wiring too.

if its an AW4, DexronIII will do. i don't know about any other tranny. maybe you could call a dealership, and ask. they are usualy helpful for me when i have a tech question like this.

talk to BrettM, here and on NAXJA. He did this, except he had a BA10. If you get his shifting module, or make one (like i did) you don't need to fuss with the computer gizmos.

i don't like minivans, or sedans. i grew up riding in a truck, and drove a truck to school for a year, then i got my jeep. now i have my Mj, and will always own a truck. only a car if its a BMW.

I last did an oil change in the middle of November. My Jeep has since leaked about 6.5-7 quarts worth of oil. If I didnt have to chane the filter...I wouldnt ever do a change :brows: .

its $900 more than i paid for my 1995 XJ, and $2775 more than i paid for my MJ. in all honesty, if it works, and you won't have to put ANY money into it to get it going right, and registered, then it might be worht it.

hell yes!! when it in D, and you have the brake depressed, if you turn on the torque converter, the truck stalls. and 1, 2, 3, 4 gears work great.

CW- You sure can! my MJ has the AW4. The only reason I did this is because its not really wanting to shift with the transmission computer...and the only way i could get past 1st gear is to run w/o the TCU. without the TCU, you lost 2nd gear, and the torque converter. i wanted to get my MJ plated as a farm vehicle...we do have horses after all. but the law says we need to have 5+ acres of land to do that... :hateputers:
