    Looks like your issue. Need power to it on one side. Looks like light green wire according to the manual.

    Could be your thermostat switch behind the glove box. Would have to get to it from underneath the dash.

    My truck is the same. Power on 86. The manual might be wrong. If you take your test light and hook the lead up to positive on the battery and probe 85. The ECU provides a ground to pin 85. Engine run AC on.

    So you have power to both terminals of the relay 85 and 87.

    Is that a NOS bumper in the pic.?

    If those are the metal strips in the back cargo area. The metal prongs are bent over. Had them in my Wagoneer limited. I damaged some hauling stuff. I would think it would be best to cut the carpet to remove them.

    I think you have to remove the grill and the headlight bezels, and there are screws under the trim. Did mine quite some time ago. Don't quite remember.

    1992 Eliminator at the U-PULL & PAY 2501 W. Buckeye road Phoenix AZ. Not much left. Rusted out driver side floor. Only good thing is the rear slider 3 pane. Did not remember to get the date on the door.

    I thought I read somewhere that in one year they made more XJ's then the total of MJ's made in six years. I am not sure which year for the XJ's.

    Can't get nothing past you. Yes, I found some NOS newer style fronts. With a little paint and some vinyl decal material, I made them match the rears.
