No it was replaced a little more then a year ago. Here is a picture.

Please give some more information about your truck and put that info in your signature for permanent. Is it 2wd or 4wd? What other mods does it have? This will give a head start to figuring out your issue. The first thing that comes to my mind is if it is 4wd check vacuum lines to the transfer case.

Anyone know what this plug is for? It was empty, it is right by the #6 spark plug.

Just tested the CPS as it has started to hesitate to start cranking when I turn the key. Ac voltage was 0.48. is this of concern or is that voltage adequate.

Spring over axle give you too much lift?

How many horsetorques are you lookin at?

That's crazy, the only time I can hear my fuel pump is when I first turn the key before starting. Didn't know this was an issue.

The EGR system was deleted on this truck

Fuel pressure is good, is it possible that the fuel pressure is good but there is simply not enough volume?

I tested this with starting fluid, there was no change in idle.

No I haven't. I'll do that next.

Did the injector thing, any one injector that I unplugged would make the idle steady out at about 500. It ran much better with any one injector unplugged. What does that mean? What should I do next?

O2 sensor tested good. Voltage was 0.25v for about 20-30 secs, then started alternating between about 0.5v and 4.8v. the voltage would change about every 2 seconds.

Got 4.7 ohms with my "new" NGK sensor with a stainless steel body and 3 wires, and 6.3 ohms with the sensor that was in it before (ceramic body, 3 wires). So I put the old one back in and haven't tested the other parts yet. The idle is still hunting.

That thing would be terrifying to drive any faster then 20mph.

Pardon my ignorance, I didn't know the RENIX 4.0l had a cam sensor. Where/how would I test that if it turns out to be relevant?

To get it on I think mine didn't go past the bulged section.

As far as I can remember it's been doing since I got the new fuel pump. The new injectors did make it run better, but that's because the ones they replaced were $50 ebay specials.

It's dry.

I trimmed that hose and put it all back together and the issue is not fixed. Any other suggestions?

I will put a shorter hose on.

Yeah they are. Although when I first pulled the pump, I noticed there was some fuel residue on each end of the hose.

The hose is brand new. Anything else I should check I have the pump out?
