    MJ cab

Yes truggy it will be, that's why I don't need but just the cab. I do prefer the outside of the cab to be somewhat straight. I am growing tired of my ZJ just to big and heavy, I do plan to swap over most of my parts from it to the MJ Drive train tires front suspension etc.

    MJ cab

I am looking to pick up a cab only don't need a bed or front clip and the floors can be rusty. Preferably close to va.
  6. Like I said I really like the direction of this build it was just that axle that caught me off guard. I by no means am a master fabricator but I do have plenty of pics of my work that I'm not afraid to show, I'm not going to post them in your thread but if you want to see I will send some to you. I have really been thinking about away to get some more drop on my MJ and that kinda was one of the ways I thought about doing, have I done it no but plan on it. Thats all I have to add so I will say good luck to you and bow out as a gentleman.
  7. Why is it uncalled for? From the pic he posted it looks like some back woods hill billy BS held together with bubble gum and bailing wire, all I'm saying is I hope he took the time and at least properly braced it. I wouldn't want to see anyone roll at those kinda speeds whether you got a cage or not. I was really into this build as I think its an awesome deal but was really disappointed to see the drop method. Take it as you will if you don't like criticism don't post pics of your stuff on the interweb.
  8. Maybe if you posted up some pics of the finished product I could get the images of you killing your self on the salt out of my head.
  9. Ur kidding about the drop axle I hope?? I am considering doing something like that on my truck but not just stacking another tube on top.
  10. I have a set of stock waggy rears on the rear of my MJ with a spring over and it matches nicely to the 4.5"s of lift I have on the front.
  11. Man I saw that Xj in pnp (if thats where you got it) and said damn I really would like to have gotten the door panels and stuff for my black comanche. I guess you beet me to it.
  12. I would totally rock those 100 spoke daytons No seriously I would
  13. You guys suck on finding these trucks with black interior, I would love to get all black for my eliminator.
  14. How did you hook your lights up with the front swap?
  15. For those who have done the 99' and up front fascia what did you do to hook up the new lights. How did you connect the old harness to the new?
  16. This is the cross member I just did for my grand with a 3-link It will get a skid built to to cover the t-case eventually
  17. Are those tractor top links???
  18. Well I picked up some new parts for the whip A complete 97 cherokee
  19. There doesn't seem to be a issue with the oil pan but I also don't plan on jumpin it so it shouldn't be a problem. I picked up a set of 235-55-17's for the back to kinda give it that hot rod look. I will try and post up a pick tomorrow of the new stance.
  20. Kinda off topic but does anyone make Blanks to shave the tail lights and maybe a rear roll pan??
  21. Kinda off topic but does anyone make a weld in rear roll pan for an MJ I would like to install one on my street beater? Also what is every one using for the main section I was thinking some 2x5x3/16's or 2x6x3/16's would be plenty strong with the tow points hooked into the frame.
  22. Not to bash but the amount of effort you have put into that thing would't have been easier to have just picked up a piece of say 2x3 and started from scratch that way the entire crossmember was beefy. I only say this because I am getting ready to do a similar project on my grand and thats how I plan on doing mine.
  23. Very nice I am definitely digging the hood is it custom or did you buy it??
  24. I haven't got it out on the street yet I still need to pick up two rear tires for it as one is pretty bald so I can't comment on the ride as of yet. The coils came off a 98'ZJ and the waggy springs I was trying to get where from a 89' but after really looking at it I think they would have dropped it to much. The blocks came from autozone, I might still try the waggy springs when I swap out the Dana 35 for a 8.8 with a Lsd in the future. I also plan on swapping the stock sway bar for the one I took off my ZJ and adding one to the rear.
  25. Things is I only have 35 bucks in the Gt wheels like they are and I will going today to pick up a set of 235-55-17's for the back since the rear tires are a little worn. So all in all I have around 450 in the truck, 35 in the GT wheels, 8 in the drop springs and hopefully 50 in the new tires oh and 30 in drop bolcks for the back  yeah i know blocks but me and the waggy springs couldn't get along at the junk yard. Plus it will get a flat black paint job to wrap it all up. So for under $600 bucks I won't go broke putting it together.
