  4. Ok so I found some one selling a chinese snorkel copy of the ARB one. He's selling it for 130+ shipping, do you think I should go for it? It's from these guys http://rv4x4.net/cn/ he bought it from them and never put it on. Do you think it's a good deal? Here are some pics I've heard mixed opinions about these. Any thoughts would be nice thanks. Brandon
  5. Any year Cherokee as long as it's not a grand Cherokee. Here is a chart you can use to figure out if it's a Dana 44 or not. Also for re gear ratio there are a few ways to tell. One way is if there is an axle tag that will tell you. Another way is if you pull the diff cover the gear ratio will be stamped on the ring gear. Brandon
  6. Do NOT sink any $ like a gear swap for a dana 35. Just swich it out with somthing. From personal experience i would go with the ford 8.8 from a 95-01 ford explorer. Easy to find with 4:10 gears stock, easy to find parts, strong axle, comes stock with disk brakes, and plenty of aftermarket support. All you need is new axle perches, wheel spacers, and a yoke adaptor. One of the best mods I've ever done :wrench: Brandon
  7. That is one of the coolest things ever! Ranks right up there with the Comanche couch, Did you put magnets on the back of the emblems with some type of glue? Very cool Rob Brandon
  8. I might just do this instead of trying to pull out my dent :ack: Thanks Brandon

  17. So its come time to where I need a new 4.0. Mine is knocking and miss firing (no thanks to the water that may or may not be inside :shake: ) So I need some options. I can go with a full rebuild but I'm not sure what all is good or not good with this motor. If I chose this way, what rebuild kits are best to use? This is a great time to upgrade should I think about having my crank shaft balanced and any after market parts added like lifters? Any and all info and what to get, and where to get it would be great! I can put in a junk yard Renix 4.0 but that would be a 50/50 shot if its gonna last more then a year. Do you think this would be worth it? Could go with a HO swap but don't know what all is needed in this kinda swap, any and all info on this would be great. And would this kind of swap be worth it? Or I can go with a reman 4.0, If I do this what company should I get one though? Thanks again for any and all info ya'll give! Brandon
  18. Looks great! Brandon

  22. Thanks Rob for the thought but I've already done Most every thug I can do. I've moved all my vent lines supper High up, I took what jpnjim said for distributor cap water proofing and did it, the only other thing I need to worry about now is the intake, and the exhaust. For the exhaust I was thinking about making a temporary extension. Brandon
  23. I couldn't see how being a fiberglass copy would make it bad and cheep. But thanks for the heads up. Brandon
