You just wait ! Recently started going thru an old folder on a work computer. About circa 2012 (or earlier) I saved quite a few great memes from that era. Oldies But GOODIES

Here's one of my favorite cheap-cheap-cheap meals to make. Can be prepared as both a burrito or quesadilla. Slow-cooked ground meat with beans + sliced japs & red bell peppers. Obviously, some righteous salsa and sour cream tops it off.

Replicating MJ Bumper Caps
White_Comanche replied to White_Comanche's topic in Vendors- members making products for MJs
Pouring Mold Part #2 happened this weekend. Happy to report that the aerosol mold separation product did its job. Today, I had to wait a long 6 hours for everything to cure before I knew anything. Thankfully Mold Part #2 did not stick to Part #1. This project has taken on a life of its own. Got $500 bucks easily wrapped up into this already. There's still a wee bit of uncertainty involving the future steps. Regardless of the outcome, I'm grateful for the success in overcoming all the challenges, and learning. Next: purchasing product to finally pour Mold Part #3. (By the way... an old door with DIY sawhorses make for a fantastic work table) -

People in General: ***Buy NEW*** WAY TOO MUCH. What is this pattern really from? A status symbol? A honey-do-need? Or people just completely oblivious to their extreme cost and/or financial situation? Case in point... all these HUGE "computers on wheels" we see. $50K to $80,000 is not uncommon... and they are EVERYWHERE it seems. Can ALL these people really be affording such an extremely priced vehicle? ************** ARGUMENT >>> • Buying New is no longer achievable for most Americans. • Also, there is great value in getting into the right vehicle, and sticking with it.

Kei truck snowblower
White_Comanche replied to pizzaman09's topic in Member Projects: Other Cool Stuff
Looking forward to the engineering you guys put into this. That Suzuki truck is gonna be the star of the show! Battery powered snow shooter seems legit as well. Gonna be a great project to see unravel. -
After a long winter hibernation I got my truck out and blasted around town today. It's driving very well these days after all the work that it needed. These pictures were taken on this post date.

Hey that's really cool! Small world I guess. Been learning that robot fighting is surprisingly big in this country (and others too). 15 pound bots pack quite a bit inside them. 5 pounds less than a 20 pound dumbbell. Not exactly light weight. What weapon type did you kids roll with? There's loads more questions I could ask, but did the design perform well?

I don't think CC is quiet, or loosing steam in any measurable way. I commonly look at online users and see how many guests (non members) are actively using the site. Clearly a lot of people are getting good information on here. Especially thanks to all the administrators and moderators. While logged into CC and searching, it's quite noticeable that only very recent topics/posts/keywords get retrieved. But when using a search engine (like Google) any query with "Jeep Comanche" included, always has this forum at the top of the page. I've discovered some real quality info on CC using this reverse method.

Yes, and to get all of his cultural references, ya gotta be just a little old... and probably schooled during the 90s. Chris Rose & Kenny really make the show too! A new season was just announced. Filming for 2026 will begin in April. Episodes will air in mid Summer. 20 teams will be competing

Hell yeah! Much like your wife, I came across the show and started watching it. After a while BB grew on me. Before I knew it, I became addicted to getting my fix every night. I have several favorite bot/teams. But my #1 is definitely Minotaur. That Brazilian team engineered a very effective and compact robot. After watching all the available World Championships, I got on YouTube and discovered team Skorpios has a channel. This was when my fascination of the sport really took hold. It offers behind-the-scenes of many competitors. Their 'Secrets Of' videos are them visiting people such as... Ray Billings of Tombstone, Whyachi family in Wisconsin, Paul Ventimiglia behind BiteForce, the California dad of Yeti, and many more. Here's their Tombstone video. They also have one all about Duck.

Curious if there's any Robot Combat fans on Comanche Club?? Recently I discovered Battlebots last year, and have really got into watching this sport! BB really has never been on my radar because I always thought it as being a 'kids show'. I was totally wrong. The sport has evolved so much since the old days on Comedy Central. Bots get totally WRECKED after many fights. Teams often pour 10s of thousands of dollars designing, engineering, and developing their robots. Did you know that a 250lb heavy weight bot can easily have $50,000 invested in it? True. Pretty fascinating stuff when you start learning that most builders/teams even have their very own machine shop. For anyone on CC that likes to work with their hands (like everyone) check the TV show out sometime!

1989 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4x4 long bed
White_Comanche replied to Airborne Janitor's topic in For Sale
Looks like you got a real nice and well-kept project truck! Not in bad shape. Also has lots of parts to use (and sell). -
That Horace Pinker track you posted IS the music from my 20s & 30s. This one really got me going again!!! They bring a mix of both Blink and Fenix TX to their sound. This band probably deserved far more notoriety than they got.
