well its been kind of cold here lately sooo, yes. i installed a new 195 "fail safe" thermostat when i got home as well. i guess since its a fail safe one it just could be opening up when i get over 195. which does happen on the trails but shouldnt while I'm driving. plus i thought once it opened you had to replace it because it wouldnt shut again.

so my closed system had an explosion on a wheelin trip. the top blew off and luckily not the bottle. i rigged it to get home and bought a new cap. ive bled the system several times but every once in awhile the temp gauge will just randomly drop down to about 150 degrees then slowly rise back up to normal temps. could this just be the gauge going out? air pocket maybe? i don't know :dunno:

rock krawler hands down. i bought mine off motions page. ive got 4.5 of lift and have NO drop pitman arm. infact RK says your not supposed to use one with that bar/bracket.

that bumper looks almost like a Logans but its not. maybe a knock off? home built? that scrambler is :drool: there was a beater one at Superlift this past weekend i kept following around lol

got a new cap for the coolant pressure bottle. the old one saw fit to blow up at the top of a big as hill climb at Superlift ORV this past weekend. i caused quite a traffic jam up there lol. should of installed the taraus fan :doh: rolled back down to base camp and jumped in a 2011 JK on 37s to finish out the day

lucky bastid! my rig is all loaded up for my trip to Superlift ORV in Hot Springs, AR this weekend. I'm rolling out first thing in the morning to meet up with the convoy. seems its going to be about 20 rigs in it and many more at the run. sure its not Moab but its the closest rocks around!!! enjoy your trip man :cheers:

thats actually been out for quite awhile. they are coming out with an "actual" truck in 2014 based off the new version wrangler. i hate the idea. jeep needs to step off this wrangler $#!& for everything. for a truck the grand cherokee front end is a much better application. but whatever. @#$% em. ill talk trash to every one i see on the trail but than again I'm kind of a prick when it comes to a new jeep truck. plus side, i guess itll finally have an actual frame

hey what shocks did you get after the long arms? ive got mine on but stuck with the travel limtiing 4.5 lift ones.

ive got procomp 1.75" ones ill sell ya for a few bucks less than what the online stores sell them for. PM me if interested

well i passed a clean looking LWB black MJ from Missouri outside Memphis yesterday. i tried to slow down and wrote the website on a napkin but they took the other way at the split. i was doing 60 on the interstate to let them catch up. then they do and go the other way! :headpop: my sister was refusing to write it down for me. calling me a comanche stalker the whole time. which then lead into a whole conversation of every Mj id seen around and how rare and awsome they are. ps. shes 29. not a kid. lol

installed those interior lights from ebay. they look good. work good too. bought a new dewalt grinder to finish cleaning off those old lower control arm pieces. just need longer bump stops, bar pin eliminators and longer down travel shocks, then those long arms will be put to good use

ahh that sucks but yeah I'm sure it was fun as hell. tell me you at least did a burn out.

i think we've all followed somebody in a MJ at some point. ive also found out that more times than not theres probably MJs close by. most of us just use the internet to find them but ive found that just talking to other jeepers/junk yard owners/used car dealers, ive found more that way. hope that guy joins up. we always need more Mj porn to look at :brows:

problem solved! thank god. theres like a 10 inch hose running from the throttle body to something mounted on the fire wall. it was unplugged. :doh: can't believe i didnt see it. i stuck my head under the hood this morning before work and heard it plan as day. took a second when i got home to find where it plugged in. sputtered a few times, then went back to normal idle. now i found i have an exhaust leak. i guess from all the dicking around under there. thanks again though Pete. you've offered up help when others wouldnt :thumbsup:

positive. we did however have to raise and lower everything when removing the crossmember. didnt think that would do anything though. i mean i had to pull the lines out and push them up while i drilled. other then that we didnt touch them. when you first start it it jumps to about 1000rpm then dies right off. when you start it again it goes real low about 300rpm then to 500 and just wavers between the two. maybe touching 600rpm. while on the gas its fine but directly goes back to sputtering when you left off even in the slightest. i read maybe MAP sensor? TPS? i don't know. thats what i got just from reading some threads. i pushed the button on the fuel rail and fuel came shooting out so i guess my pressure is good :dunno: it didnt do that before i changed the filter though. it just drizzled out.

changed fuel filter. running a hair better. i just replaced the upstream 02 not long ago. surely its still good. ive read something about sensors maybe?

so i installed my RK long arms and had to do some moving of the fuel lines. just out of the way basicly. now the engine sputters when not on the gas. it doesnt jump high but rpms do bounce around. any ideas on what could be causing this? ive got till the 21st to figure it out because ive got a wheelin' trip. thanks

nobody? thats crazy. thought surely one of us have since every TJ,XJ,YJ guy seems to do it. guess ill post up on how it works out

anybody on here done this? i ditched my old fan when my new radiator didnt have the insert. ive got a taurus fan now but still confused on it. ive read write ups by the ton and still don't get it. maybe I'm just a :dunce: but anything with wiring gets me everytime.
