Mine is also the pressed cardboard stuff but i was thinking this would be easy to manipulate into the right shape and also be pretty thick and last a good while. Think the peg board would be hard to get to bend correctly without braking it. Cole

Ok i got my hands on some free fiberglass 5x15 ft roll and resin so here is the plan... I will lay down the old board and cover it in the fiberglass and lay the resin to it allow to dry and then romove the fiberglass piece and clean it up a little and cover it with foam and fabric and it should be good to go. How does everyone think it sounds???I will post up if it works and then everyone else will have a idea to try if they want to. Thanks for all of the input on this topic it has been very helpful. Cole

So i finally Painted the MJ.. It was not looking so swell and there were alot of small rust spots so i decided to brake out the sander and the rattle cans and got to it. After 3 hours of prep and 45min of painting it turned out like this....... Thers a couple of bad spots but it looks alot better than it did since it was 3 different shades of primer grey and the orginal paint. Now i just got to touch up the spots that need it. Then i can finish the interior. Cole

Those pics would be great. I have also been thinking of using foam to cover the roof then attach the fabric to that. So many ideas i just need to decide which i will do. PS what did you do to the front and back where the plastic don't cover the fabric??? Cole

The bad thing about the inserts are that they are usally plastic or fiberglass and the hood is metal. The problem with this is the metal expands different from the cowl causing any type of bondo or whatever you use to cover the screws and edge to crack. If you don't use anything to kinda make it look like it belongs ( like body compound) it looks really BAD. That is my experiece with them someone else may have had better luck. Cole

Do yall think that design would work for a tube door latch if mounted in the right place. Cole

Just a small Threadjack: I have one more question, would the TPS cause my MJ to run Rich. I am thinking it might be one of my problems but i was unsure exactly if it would cause the truck to run rich. Cole

Ok i didnt know where to put this but i think it belongs here but Pete feel free to move it. This is a new ORV park that has opened up in upstate SC. I have been thinking of going but i don't have a tow rig. But Ive done some sweet talking to a buddy with an atv and we might split gas and he will tow the MJ with his ATV on it. Anyways from what ive seen it seems like a decent place.I know Jeepmj_tj knows about it so he may have been but i do know that its privately owned and seems to be getting better each week. Here is a link to the website for it http://www.gulchesorvpark.com/
