  1. My Spectre tank fit perfectly including the sender and came with the straps.
  2. Love it
  3. The gear ratio in the 4.0 axle will probably have a negative effect on the 2.5
  4. XJ fronts are a dime a dozen around here. It would be a much cheaper option then a rebuild. It is true that 3.73 is unusual in an XJ/MJ though. It is more common in a TJ but they use the weaker low pinion design. Everything is a trade off.
  5. Does he sell on ebay or anywhere other than the forum?
  6. Volvos for renix, neon or mustangs for HO I think. And did u send them back? I should know tomorrow UPDATE: The seller, EastBayAreaParts, approved the return without any hassles.
  7. So are those the best for Renix and HO? I got burnt on some eBay ones last week. 1 bad and trouble itch seller making it right. I will post up name but it is someone Oates in Oakland,CA on the eBay ad. Straight used injectors no cleaning or anything.
  8. I have used my Engo numerous times and would buy another if I was in the market Warn makes a heck of a winch. It just isn't that their value line is worth more than the others
  9. So do you need one for an XJ as well? Because a rear XJ hitch will not work on an MJ
  10. The cheapo VR8000 is just another China-winch. It is not the same as the rest of the Warn line. Paying $200 more for it then a 99% indentical Engo doesn't make a lot of sense IMHO
  11. Alexia has stated that his lift is geared toward street use and is truck does not got offroad. Just order 6.5" springs instead of 5.5. Simple. I would also go CAD or long arm with 6.5. In my sig line is a similar lift. I wheel my truck several times a month and drive it about 7,000 miles a year.
  12. I'm not a fan of CJ, JK, BJ, YJ, TJ, CK, or any of those jeep styles. I just don't like em. No way any Wrangler will look better then any jeep truck. (just my opinion, though) something like this, but MJ That is a Wrangler JK with a body replacement. Jeep makes a kit to turn a 4dr JK into a truck like the J8 as well as there being a couple of custom sources like AEV Also there is at least one source for an AW4 aftermarket controller. Google RADesigns.
  13. Cruiser all that I know for sure is they are rebuilt 4 -hole Bosche "upgrade" injectors. They will be here Tuesday as I need them in & running for a trip Friday. In your opinion is it worth changing the pump as well? It appears the pressure #'s are correct and that it was not bleeding off
  14. Some place in Oakland Ca via fleabay
  15. A plus is that they are absolutely predictable. No locking/unlocking. The biggest drawback IMHO is the tire wear as mentioned.
  16. Am I missing something or is the difference between rub/no rub the replacing of the trimmed fenders with untrimmed fenders? The trimming was probably done to clear the tires in the first place and that would explain this problem. The higher wheel well would also give the appearance of a lift. To my mind a budget boost is the best answer to the problem if that is the case
  17. Thanks cruiser. I had thought it was the pump allowing the fuel to bleed back as I had had tat happen on another vehicle some years ago.
  18. I guess I should be glad my bench is worn out, as well
  19. Tonight the ol' OSDP ( opposite sex domestic partner) asked why I had my seat adjusted so close to the wheel. I didn't realize it until she mentioned it but I was sitting pretty close. When I got home I had to move the MJ when it hit me: I had duplicated the MJ's driving position in the Wrangler. As at 6' and 245# I have never consider the MJ cab very roomy this realization made me laugh.
