  1. Lots and lots of wiring today. Alternator, electric fan, cleaned up the engine bay, and cleaned up underneath the dash for the ECU. also mounted up the little dash but I plan on running some analog gauges for redundancy. Bunch of parts coming next week so HOPEFULLY I can fire it up next weekend.
  2. Pretty much dead on with the original fitment, maybe an inch forward. But i test fit the old shifter and it throws fine without any interference. boot should work too
  3. Feels like I just keep moving wires around to what looks better. Just a bit more before I can wrap and loom everything. I'm super picky about how my stuff is ran. I redid the accessories in my Cherokee about 4 times and I'm still probably gonna redo that once this is done. Got the front end on and it's starting to look like a jeep again! Just waiting on parts now, shipping has been super slow with everything going on.
  4. Had to keep a little AMC in all that gm. Plus it hides the massive amount of wires over there
  5. Awesome. I found them a while back but wasn't too sure. Saw your post and a bunch of others saying how good it is and that sealed the deal.
  6. I used a 105 amp off a Caprice with the cop car specs. Bracket had to be trimmed a bit and I did reclock it so the power stud was in a better spot. Took me like maybe an hour and it fit perfect. Plugs right in.
  7. This was me when I got the fuel pump to turn on in my LS swap
  8. Core brand shifter. They make their own housing and use Hurst parts for it. Kinda pricey at 300 but there isn't a ton of options for the ax15. Every review I found has nothing but good news.
  9. Speedway motors Corvette filter/regulator with an fittings brazed on. Don't really recommend it, as it bent up like a pretzel when I tried to tighten the fittings on. There isn't a nut on the actual filter to grab on to
  10. Clutch is bled. Feels pretty good for a 11 inch BBC one. Got everything that's supposed to turn on with the key working including the fuel pump. Leaked from 3 different spots...tried to tighten the filter locations and it bent and kinked the damn filter. Ugh, have to order up another one. Atleast I know the pump works. Also pissed like crazy out of the rail shrader valve, but it was just loose so that tightened up fine. ECU is mounted and well hidden. Got almost all the connectors together. Just o2 sensor and manifold intake temp. Hoping I can atleast fire it up this weekend maybe. Driveshaft should be here next week along with a short throw shifter. SO CLOSE
  11. Russell's makes all kinds of adapters from various fittings types to an. Problem is alot of our stuff is Barb and for those you need to cut off the flare and have it straight, then use a compression type adapter from that to an. A new fuel filter can be had with an fittings already brazed on. Tank fittings are Barb. I ran rubber line from the tank to my filter then converted it to an because I didn't wanna cut up the sending unit. I'm doing a ls swap but same thing applies really. Unsure what the fuel rail fitting is for yours so that may be tricky.
  12. Does anyone have the locations of the grounds and which one is which? I'm looking for the g104 ground but can't find where it would be on the Jeep.
  13. Awesome. Thank you! Now I just gotta find out what I need to get ignition and starter signal
  14. Need some help on the ignition wiring. Went to try and just bump the starter on my ls swap and I'm getting nothing at the ignition switch. Is the factory computer needed for power to reach the switch? Any diagrams would be great.
  15. Got the fan all mounted up on the radiator. It's a close as hell fit but it should be good. Also heat wrapped the clutch line, starter cables, and speedometer cable. Got the spark plugs, wires and coils mounted as well. Holley ecu should be here tomorrow so I might start on that.
  16. Radiator is in and mounted! Made a top bracket out of c channel to hold it steady and bolted it to the upper support. Also got the fan today, just waiting on the shroud now. Wiring is definitely under construction. Fuel pump and fan is wired in expect for trigger wires. Set up a new fuse box for some stuff and also got the factory relay cover to work!
  17. Trying to cleanup the wiring in my engine bay for the LS swap and also trying to find out what stuff does to see if I can use it. This connect is on the pass side. So far the only wire i can trace is a couple from the a/c relay and one wire that I got tach signal off of. Does anyone have a pinout of the connections? Diagrams haven't been great
  18. Well hopefully roadkill happens this summer so you can see it. Although my hopes are quickly sinking...
  19. Part of me felt bad taking the 2.5 out. It just ran soooo good for like 220 thousand on it. And with the small tires on it actually had some pep to it. But a V8 will be so worth it.
  20. Radiator fits! Gonna clean it up a bit but the hard part is done. Fuel lines are all ran as well. And alternator and starter are mounted up. Next up is holley efi
  21. Looks awesome. Seriously jealous of the front splitter
  22. Not bad for a pair of s10 ls swap headers off eBay lol. Took a little persuasion with a hammer but only like 2 small spots. Plus they are v band collecters so no huge flange to worry about.
