  1. Does anyone have the locations of the grounds and which one is which? I'm looking for the g104 ground but can't find where it would be on the Jeep.
  2. Awesome. Thank you! Now I just gotta find out what I need to get ignition and starter signal
  3. Need some help on the ignition wiring. Went to try and just bump the starter on my ls swap and I'm getting nothing at the ignition switch. Is the factory computer needed for power to reach the switch? Any diagrams would be great.
  4. Got the fan all mounted up on the radiator. It's a close as hell fit but it should be good. Also heat wrapped the clutch line, starter cables, and speedometer cable. Got the spark plugs, wires and coils mounted as well. Holley ecu should be here tomorrow so I might start on that.
  5. Radiator is in and mounted! Made a top bracket out of c channel to hold it steady and bolted it to the upper support. Also got the fan today, just waiting on the shroud now. Wiring is definitely under construction. Fuel pump and fan is wired in expect for trigger wires. Set up a new fuse box for some stuff and also got the factory relay cover to work!
  6. Trying to cleanup the wiring in my engine bay for the LS swap and also trying to find out what stuff does to see if I can use it. This connect is on the pass side. So far the only wire i can trace is a couple from the a/c relay and one wire that I got tach signal off of. Does anyone have a pinout of the connections? Diagrams haven't been great
  7. Well hopefully roadkill happens this summer so you can see it. Although my hopes are quickly sinking...
  8. Part of me felt bad taking the 2.5 out. It just ran soooo good for like 220 thousand on it. And with the small tires on it actually had some pep to it. But a V8 will be so worth it.
  9. Radiator fits! Gonna clean it up a bit but the hard part is done. Fuel lines are all ran as well. And alternator and starter are mounted up. Next up is holley efi
  10. Looks awesome. Seriously jealous of the front splitter
  11. Not bad for a pair of s10 ls swap headers off eBay lol. Took a little persuasion with a hammer but only like 2 small spots. Plus they are v band collecters so no huge flange to worry about.
  12. Power steering pump mounted. The original jeep lines bolted right up! I just had to slightly bend the return. Also got the headers wrapped. Not great, but not bad for my first I think. Got the fuel lines all done too.
  13. what did the new driveshaft run you, with shipping costs. That company has the best price for an aluminum driveshaft but can't find what they are charge for shipping
  14. Got the fuel pump swapped out. What a chore that was. The 2.5 pump is like an inch shorter so if I just mounted the new one I would have had to drill out the ground location on the sender. Didn't want to butcher it so I took the runner isolater and cut it so the bigger pump could fit. Also got the radiator mounted up. Used some universal pads for the bottom. I have to hole saw a spot for the filler neck in the upper support to fit. Driveshaft is like 2 inches to big so I'm gonna have to order a custom made one. Not entirely upset as I definitely want an aluminum one but was hoping that could wait. Oh well. Tons of small parts ordered for this weekend so I should get a lot done.
  15. Mines from Virginia and has definitely never seen salt. And I'm keeping it that way. NJ has the brine stuff that SUCKS. although this winter was super light. Put it away in November and was able to take it out end of February.
  16. I had them tight so I will definitely do that when I get a chance to mess with it
  17. Yeah mine are definitely not all the way in correctly. I'll have to mess with it so the lower bushing sits correctly in the slot
  18. Fun isn't exactly the word I would use...still not convinced they are totally sitting the right way.
  19. Got the transmission mount all bolted up, mounted the fuel filter/regulator. Fit great in the stock filter location. Got the track bar all set up. Works perfect and is parallel with the steering. Also cut the opening for the radiator, gotta get some c channel for a lower mount. The one pic shows where I hammered for fork clearance.
  20. 3 pound sledge made quick work of it. I'll try and get a pic of where I needed to clear
  21. Holy sh** was this tough. Don't want to have any buddies over cause of this damn virus. Had the engine in and out 4 times today. Had to clearance the firewall and trans tunnel in order to fit the Novak slave and Chevy clutch fork. But I got it in and it fits awesome. Plenty of clearance for the oil pan. Headers will be interesting that's for sure. I also got a straight drag link as I was worried about the bend against the oil pan. Also got a double shear bracket that lowered the mounting point so I should be plenty good. Tomorrow I'll be doing headers and a bunch of small stuff.
  22. Got the clutch all together and trans mounted. Everything looks good. Motor will be in this weekend for sure. Test fit just the motor today and I'm so glad I got the different pan. Stock one definitely wouldn't have fit. I'm also using S10 ls swap headers and they seem like they should work. Look like a direct copy from the novaks minus one tube, but so far they fit.
