  1. I've always had awesome results with Milwaukee bits, but like minuit said they burn out more quickly than I'd like. Still I'll take that with how good they cut first
  2. Used to watch this show a lot, their park truck looks very familiar...
  3. Got the shifter all done and carpet is put back
  4. Wow really? Couple of my friends said that was high. And this is for stainless too
  5. One shop was able to give me a estimate of $600 for the system. Everyone else just said it has to be brought it. The headers I got have a little 6 inch extension with a bung but even that doesn't fit
  6. definetly recommend it. I'm so close its actually painful. I really want to start it up but I have no spot for the o2 sensor and don't want to run it without incase it goes super lean or rich. Trying to find an exhaust shop that will do stainless and mandrel is tougher than I thought. Plus everyone wants to see the truck to give me a quote, which I get but not even a ball park amount. I'm not wasting my AAA calls shuttling it from shop to shop...
  7. Got the shifter in today. This thing is absolutely incredible. Worth every single cent. Now I just gotta see if the carpet will fit where the boot is. Might get a big one that covers everything.
  8. Intake is made! Nothing special about it, summit silicon and aluminum tube and a K&N filter. Sits right where the fresh air intake is behind the headlight. Driveshaft is also in. Stock one weighs about 25 pounds and the new one weighs in at about 12. Super nice quality and fast shipping. Still waiting on the shifter then off to the exhaust shop
  9. I wanted to copy the front end of like a shelby Dakota or typhoon. It's off a S10, eBay 40 bucks lol. Thanks!
  10. So most LS's have a MAF which also has the intake temp sensor in that whole assembly. Holley uses MAP, and in turn has a separate IAT sensor. No ports are in the intake and I wanted it separate from the air intake tube so I found this nifty little egr block off plate that is threaded for a GM IAT used on another LS (I think gto?). Driveshaft and shifter should be here tomorrow and the only thing left is exhaust! Gotta find a place now and see if I can borrow my tow truck from work...
  11. Throttle cable mounted. Factory one off a 98 to 02 fbody with ls1. Just had to enlarge the firewall hole and it fit perfect. Same style clip for the pedal as Jeep
  12. Bosch makes a great cheap tach. Just 4 wires and a hose clamp to the steering column and done. I had a small one for a bit but went up to the bigger size. It perfectly covers the stock tach without getting in the way of anything else.
  13. Lots and lots of wiring today. Alternator, electric fan, cleaned up the engine bay, and cleaned up underneath the dash for the ECU. also mounted up the little dash but I plan on running some analog gauges for redundancy. Bunch of parts coming next week so HOPEFULLY I can fire it up next weekend.
  14. Pretty much dead on with the original fitment, maybe an inch forward. But i test fit the old shifter and it throws fine without any interference. boot should work too
  15. Feels like I just keep moving wires around to what looks better. Just a bit more before I can wrap and loom everything. I'm super picky about how my stuff is ran. I redid the accessories in my Cherokee about 4 times and I'm still probably gonna redo that once this is done. Got the front end on and it's starting to look like a jeep again! Just waiting on parts now, shipping has been super slow with everything going on.
  16. Had to keep a little AMC in all that gm. Plus it hides the massive amount of wires over there
  17. Awesome. I found them a while back but wasn't too sure. Saw your post and a bunch of others saying how good it is and that sealed the deal.
  18. I used a 105 amp off a Caprice with the cop car specs. Bracket had to be trimmed a bit and I did reclock it so the power stud was in a better spot. Took me like maybe an hour and it fit perfect. Plugs right in.
  19. This was me when I got the fuel pump to turn on in my LS swap
  20. Core brand shifter. They make their own housing and use Hurst parts for it. Kinda pricey at 300 but there isn't a ton of options for the ax15. Every review I found has nothing but good news.
  21. Speedway motors Corvette filter/regulator with an fittings brazed on. Don't really recommend it, as it bent up like a pretzel when I tried to tighten the fittings on. There isn't a nut on the actual filter to grab on to
  22. Clutch is bled. Feels pretty good for a 11 inch BBC one. Got everything that's supposed to turn on with the key working including the fuel pump. Leaked from 3 different spots...tried to tighten the filter locations and it bent and kinked the damn filter. Ugh, have to order up another one. Atleast I know the pump works. Also pissed like crazy out of the rail shrader valve, but it was just loose so that tightened up fine. ECU is mounted and well hidden. Got almost all the connectors together. Just o2 sensor and manifold intake temp. Hoping I can atleast fire it up this weekend maybe. Driveshaft should be here next week along with a short throw shifter. SO CLOSE
  23. Russell's makes all kinds of adapters from various fittings types to an. Problem is alot of our stuff is Barb and for those you need to cut off the flare and have it straight, then use a compression type adapter from that to an. A new fuel filter can be had with an fittings already brazed on. Tank fittings are Barb. I ran rubber line from the tank to my filter then converted it to an because I didn't wanna cut up the sending unit. I'm doing a ls swap but same thing applies really. Unsure what the fuel rail fitting is for yours so that may be tricky.
