Sorry for your loss.

I bought a 2005 LJ Rubicon last summer 2024 and it's been my focus. I pulled the Wagoneer Dana 44 from the comanche and will replace it with the LJ Rubicon dana 44. The stroker motor and axle will be installed this winter. Ultimately, the Comanche will end up on 35" tires and be more of a overlanding rig. My Rubicon will be the trail rig.

Start, I should have taken more pics. We rode in Mount Airy's Christmas parade.

I used the Alloyworks brand from Amazon for a 1991-2001 Cherokee ($160). Most aftermarket radiators won't fit because they have a filler neck on the drivers side that stick into the radiator support. I used a hole saw and cut half of a 3" circle out for the neck on mine with no issues. I've had no trouble, had the radiator in and out atleast three times due to other issues and it cools very well.

Thank you

If you're going to replace, wait until it goes out. I've had many jeeps over the years. Once they have more than 100k they all made noises. I bought my comanche from a family that never had a 4.0 before. It had piston slap and they thought it was a major issue. I've owned it for four years, I've driven it on 5-6hr trips and hope to go to Moab in it this year. I'm not worried about reliability at all.

Azzy's Transfer Case Linkage Review
Fryedaddy replied to SoloRiderForever's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I installed Azzy's as well and didn't have any issues. It appeared that they may have test fit mine or set it up with factory measurements. I barely had to adjust mine for proper shifting. -

Nice Rig, will be nice seeing you build -
What year is it? Check the fuel pump ballast if its an early model. I removed mine all together and placed a fuse in the wire clips.

HELP! Wiring issue after putting dash back in
Fryedaddy replied to Prestin_xj's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Its very easy to pinch wires in between the steering wheel mount when putting the dash back on. Check there. -
It's been awhile. I pulled the dash back out to fix my a/c and have that working now. the dash is back in and it should be back on the road shortly. Looking forward to wheeling this season.

I did the Waggy 44 in mine but we differ on the rear, I bought a ford 8.8. The rear axle isn't that hard for either. Do you research, plenty of people have done that swap. The waggy 44 is much more involved but I really like my final results. The link below is the setup I went with on the 44 andf I think it was very nice. https://www.barnes4wd.com/Jeep-TJ-LJ-XJ-ZJ-and-MJ-Wagoneer-Dana-44-Front-Swap-Kit_p_833.html I bought a separate setup from them for my ford 8.8 as well. I think the kit below will work. https://www.barnes4wd.com/Dana-44-Rear-Axle-Swap-Combo-2-34-Inch-Axle-Tube_p_129.html

LOL, We're driving out to Moab in June. When we get to the camping site, I'll pull a wheel and tire for my spare while in Moab. My trailer can't be stole and I have a spare. I agree, they are ridiculous on the trailer LOL.
