I think the SJ community is in line for reproduction bumpers first. You can’t get front or rears new for the SJ. I’m sure J-truck guys would kill for a rear bumper that isn’t something for a C10

Oh whew. I kept what ever I have on the XJ and swapped some to the MJ. I just sacrificed a plastic clip for its ring base and run the metal. Less risk of breaking at the important part.

Ok so developing, this clip can be found in SJ's as wiring body clips, YJ's as the same as SJ's, XJ's under the rear upper hatch panel on the headliner(not in catalog though) and the Eagle Premier/Dodge Monaco for the window regulators.

Yeah, I thought I was clear. Maybe in my head I was, bad habit of that. Any who let me double check my idea, but I swear seeing them in my XJ, looked dead on the same as what holds the handle in the MJ.

I did say those very clips can be found in XJs under the top panel by the hatch on the roof holding the washer hose. Course be my luck that’s an 84 only thing.

Or the rear door vent window on the XJ.

The cross iron is a spare someone had. The tire iron and the handle get strapped in the same spot and the handle portion of the handle gets clipped to a metal piece that sticks out. I found that metal clip in a spot y’all would never guess. Under the upper panel on the rear of the XJ holding the washer hose to the ceiling.

Rear door is assembled, rear bottom seat and associated panel pieces are in. I’m getting closer to having the interior assembled and having fuel injection next in line. I found the wire associated with the fuel pump to power the pump with the Renix harness, my next trick will be finding a wire to plug into the connector and finding a vacant spot in the C100 to put that into and then wiring it up to the relay for the Renix engine harness. It surprises me still that AMC didn’t offer this as a DIY or dealer kit back in 86, it’s pretty simple and I can see there being good money there to really make your early XJ worth it back in the day…but I digress the idea. Also since I have the back panel off I will be adding the power lock for there. I originally wasn’t going to but since the panel had to come off for the lamp switch on the latch to make sure it was working, I might as well go full power doors now.

Yes and as long as no air gets past, it will hold vacuum.

If you need one to mold from, I have my original and possibly a spare laying around I can send along. I’m sure there is a market for them, but there’s a bigger market for doing the body moldings.

Yeah the servo sometimes called the solenoid and the dump valve is the valve that’s installed at the brake pedal.

Bolt them in place. Makes future removing so much easier. Plus the later ones from Chrysler are bolt in too if you find OEM ones in a junk yard.
