Well someone decided today to pull 10-15 feet of my winch cable out and lay in out in the parking lot. I would appreciate suggestions and ideas about how to lock my winch cable up so no one can walk up to it and do something like this.

We all have one of those moments, so don't sweat it. I got lost inside when I was trying to find the ams oil brooth because I want some gear oil for my transmission.
-
Yes I can. It's out front on the circle in front of the La conte center. I drew an arrow from the outside vendor area to help illustrate where it's at. Hope this helps.

Here's some photos I took ^Talked to the owner of this, forgot his name but he got a sweet stock truck. I try to see if I got any more pictures of cool Jeeps that I saw. Even though it's over run with Jk and newer Jeeps, there are still plenty of amazing old Jeeps at the Jeep Invasion.

Honestly I was going to enter in the show but I was waiting until I got my truck road legal and by the time I got a tag for it, they didn't have any spots open. I hope that does happen because it would be one less Jk, JL, and JT in the show.

Thanks @MJXJjeepguy wish that I could meet up with you and more of you guys from the forums at the show. Also I really want that J10 . Tomorrow I will add to the list of interesting rigs at the event with photos I took. Hopefully next year I can add another MJ to the show.

I'll be there on Saturday with a dark grey metallic long bed Comanche. Can't wait to see you guys there.

Most of them are likely the options for the Comanche that you are looking at but I guessing the Vin is close to a jk/jl Wrangler because it's saying you got a 3.6l v6, color is punk'n metallic, and 750 amp battery.

I done this swap with a 96 booster. The reason why everyone uses the 95-96 brake booster is the rod length matches our truck's original brake booster rod. This allows the brake pedal to matches original height. The 95/96 is easiest to swap over because the modifications to it is minor. If you set on swap over a 98 booster, you still can do but it requires cutting and welding the brake booster rod to match original spec. In my opinion, you be better off in time and save yourself frustration by using a 95/96 instead.

95-96 Brake Booster MC Reservoir leaks
Blaine.D replied to Blaine.D's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
No the leak isn't coming from where the master cylinder and booster meets. The leak is coming from where the reservoir and master cylinder meet. Photo below has arrow showing the source of the leak. -
Two months ago, I installed the 95/96 dual diaphragm brake booster with a brand new reservoir. I noticed this a few days ago between the reservoir and the master cylinder a small amount of brake fluid is leaking and it hasn't dropped below the full line. What you would you guys think how I should fix it? Tell if I wrong but I guessing I will have to replace the rubber gasket / oring. If that's the case I appreciate if one of you guys can point me towards a replacement one.

Already asked yellaheep about it and according to him two people already inquire about it. So unless something changes, his emblem is sold. Thanks for the tip.

Currently I am working towards doing a Metric Ton conversion on my truck and want to find the Metric Ton badge. I will take one in any condition as long as the price isn't too high. Also I am can trade parts for one. Just ask I probably already got it in storage. I need one for my truck and for use in attempts to make new ones. Below is a photo that I found online of what the badge looks likes. Thanks in advance.

I am going to assume that you are talking about which manufacturer had the most powerful truck in the lifespan of the 4.0l in the Comanche. In years that the Comanche was in production with the 4.0l, the Comanche had the most power of any pickup truck. The max power of the 4.0l during the Comanche run was 195hp with 225lb-ft of torque during the H.O. years while during the renix years the 4.0l had around 177hp with 225lb-ft of torque. On average the 4.0l was making 20hp more than other trucks in its class. I agree with Pete that the Comanche was about to be out class by the completion in 92. I disagree with Jeep Driver's answer that the Comanche isn't the most powerful truck for two reasons if we talking which manufacturer made the most powerful midsize truck at the time. 1.This is my biggest reason both the Shelby Dakota and the GMC Cyclone were produced by outside companies. The Dakota was made by Shelby and the Cyclone by Production Automotive Services. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMC_Syclone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Production_Automotive_Services https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelby_Dakota 2. Production Numbers: Again if we are talking about which manufacturer had the most powerful truck, I would think that we are talking about if you were back in the day and you went to your local dealer to buy a truck which would be the most powerful that you could take home that day. Both the Dakota and Cyclone were limited production runs. Cyclone with around 3000 and Dakota with 1500.

How bad are they price wise? Should have mention this in my first post that I'm trying to do this on somewhat of a budget without spending the $600+ on a kit. Also thanks guys for the advice so far.

I recently found a dana 44 out of an xj and one of the mods that I want to do is disc brakes. I need to keep the e brake. What is the best route for doing the conversion? Also would the rear disc brakes off of a Grand Cherokee with a dana 44 work? Any advice or help is appreciated.

If I recall correctly no but I would go in person and check for yourself to make sure it was you want.

The bed is a long bed overall was in good condition except for the holes drilled for the roll bar and one side behind the bumper there was a decent size dent if I recalled correctly. I am guilty of that habit if I can I do try to have spares of certain parts. As well as rare upgrades and options. Sadly that is true that renix jeeps are drying up and I try if my local yards have one I try to get what I can.
