99% have flowery or its a Jeep thing tire cover? I'm calling you a liar.

Hornbrod bought one... is he a "true jeeper"? Or is he a 1%. There are plenty of faithful Jeep owners out there who will not buy a new ifs Jeep of any name. I am one of them. There are others that feel the same in the comments of the article. That is lost profit. Period. To say otherwise is foolish. Like I said Jeep can do what they want. Please tell us why 99% of people who bought new wranglers aren't "true jeepers". I actually misread your comment. Please tell us why anyone who buys a new wrangler isn't a jeeper.

Why Is It So Hard For People To Spell 'comanche'?
ride172 replied to johnny quest's topic in The Pub
The city of Fort Collins CO has a street named COMMANCHE... It's spelled that way on the sign and Google maps ... -
I looked at the first picture for a long time wondering what kind of super long arm lift was on there. I even thought for a brief second it had a body lift with a yellow frame but knew better. Finally realized it was the striping on the road..

The only Jeeps I will ever own will be solid front axle. Jeep can do whatever it wants. People can choose to buy them or not. I feel they will lose many loyal customers.

I know I'm just whining and it won't do anything to reduce spending by the Federal Government but it makes me feel better to get it off my chest. So yesterday at work I was talking to a coworker who asked me about my insurance. I told him my wife pays $500 and change a month for our family. I then said I felt like it was justifiable expense because when my daughter was born and when I had ACL surgery we only had to pay $3000 for each one. He then says his kids (plural) didn't cost him anything cause his girlfriend didn't have a job and he was on unemployment. He also said they weren't getting married cause they would lose their "benefits" because his gf wouldn't be a single mom anymore. That angered me. My wife works so we can have insurance. She works long hours too and we are rarely home at the same time. We work hard so we can pay our taxes and be upstanding citizens. With all the handouts made available to people today they actually plan their lives around being eligible for free healthcare, food, childcare, and housing assistance. Then they have more kids for free and this in turn gets them more assistance. Of course they don't care for the kids and they in turn grow up to be drains on society as well. The whole situation makes me think this country is done for. The majority now has no pride, no work ethic, and no desire to bite the hand that feeds. The name needs to be changed to the U.S.S.A or the United Socialist States of America.

I agree... The US government needs to turn over everything to the states and then shrink itself to the size that was intended to be when this country was founded. The state militias could collaborate to secure our borders While I'm pissed about the current state of affairs, why not talk about people dependent on government assistance. Some people need help, I get that. But why do I have to work my @$$ off and miss seeing my daughter grow up just so I can give 20% of my money to be redistributed to pay for someone to sit on their @$$. Assistance needs to be temporary not a way of life. Why should they be able to buy Red Bull and candy bars? How about putting restrictions on what can be bought. Oh yeah and how about drug testing applicants for assistance? I have to take them for my job. Shouldn't they have to take one to spend my money. I once saw a lady talking on her cell phone, driving a newer cross over SUV, pull into the food bank and pick up a box. Some people's priorities baffle me.

A person doesn't have to look far to find a government over stepping it's boundaries and killing it's own citizens. I want to be able to defend my family and neighbors if the situation arises. I will use the deadliest force necessary to keep them safe. I agree with everything Oyaji said about the second amendment. I just can't say it as well. NSA please add my name to the "not comply" list.. lol.. but seriously.........

If you own, white oakleys, affliction t-shirts, or those candy-assed stitched-pocket jeans: THIS VEHICLE IS NOT FOR YOU. My favorite line... All those things have always bothered me

Just a few posts up there is a $450 mj... an $800 dollar rust free mj... and a $500 mj... So I don't care what you think... $450 for a bed and no tailgate is ridiculous when compared to whole mjs for roughly the same price...
-
Its $450 for a bed with no tail gate.... how can $1000 be too much for a whole mj but 450 for the bed be acceptable??

It's a calm debate because everyone knows most politicians end up looking out for only themselves...
-
Doesn't matter - that's not how the general public will look at it. I know... That is the whole problem... A lot of people aren't capable of thinking for themselves. I want to know why auto accidents, obese people and alcohol/smoking deaths are far more numerous yet people could care less about doing anything to prevent those deaths. But someone loses it and shoots someone suddenly they want to take action and try to make it illegal for me to defend my family from anyone trying to harm them. My daughter is 4 yrs old. You want to die? Try and harm her.(not talking to anyone in particular with that)

The gun didn't kill anyone. The crazy love struck 21 year old did

The recall in Pueblo was started by a working class tradesman and his friends... They had never participated in anything political, they just decided to act and stand up for themselves... He claims he didn't receive any NRA money and won by 20 pts... His opposition was well financed and even had Bill Clinton doing prerecorded phone calls for her... The will of the people won when they stood together.... Say it together now, "I WILL NOT COMPLY"

There are a few who are motivated by the right reasons, but then they get a little power and money and they quickly forget those reasons..

Who cares if this forum is about "trucks"... The pub is for anything... There are threads here about the stupidest crap, like facial hair and girlfriend pictures... No one said to them, "hey this is a forum about "trucks"".... Jim wasn't pushing a point if view, he was simply asking if anybody heard about it.... In my reply I was simply stating that politicians need to listen to the people not stacks of money...

I bet there are a couple people in New York and Washington DC who have been following pretty closely and are now very upset.... They should pay attention, for this movement of the people taking control away from their greased palms isnt going to stop...

They are great batteries... I have them in both my Jeeps. Used the warranty on each one due to leaving interior lights on till completely dead. It was my fault but still replaced for free. They where both over 2 years old at the time. I also use the duralast marine battery in my boat.

I never said it was a dating site. Just trying to help you find a volunteer to go do a simple job for the lady. How about you tell her to Google "how to change a fan clutch (insert year here) jeep wrangler" then she can watch a few you tube vids, read a few threads from jeep forum and fix it herself. Or her boyfriend (if one exists) could do it.... She can borrow tools from Autozone... they will have the fan clutch... then maybe she will learn a few things and not get ripped off again.. give a man a fish............ I'm sure you know the rest......
-
If she is hot and you post a picture, I bet you would have more volunteers...
-
Count me in if there is enough interest.. I was gonna try for lake powell the last weekend in July but a group of comanches and shaking hands with Jim and hearing him spin a yarn or two sounds fun..
-
Jim, those memories sound so good I wish they were mine... I worked with my dad on a ranch for most of my childhood... Hardest man in the world to please but I would go back if I could... I would be interested in joining in on the fun. My truck might break down. You think anyone would know how to fix it?
