  1. Her hands are too small...........
  2. Gnarmanche..... that is seriously the funniest thing I have seen in a while .... thanks for a good laugh
  3. I got rid of mine after a rock found its way in between rotor and shield. Thought I was doing myself a favor ... oh well, won't be the last time I do something dumb ..
  4. Well crap. . .... I have one in my xj. I got vibes now that I'm pretty sure are just a u joint. Then I had to go and read this.
  5. I'm in Colorado ... cause of your name (stoney88) I was thinking you were from around here. Set me up with an address and I'll send em out (if you still need them). Don't worry about shipping. You need one? I'll send two.
  6. Where do you live stoney? I have eight extras from the neon fuel rails I got my injectors from.
  7. And who cares if they are overworked and underpaid? Just more excuses. Doesn't most everyone feel this way? What if I told my boss I messed up cause I am overworked and barely getting by? He would say "find a new job."
  8. Large orders or small, problems are problems. You shouldn't make excuses for poor service. I can't believe people are trying to say its the customer's fault for ordering too much stuff. If it is a large order it should be given top priority. Too big of an order? What a joke.
  9. Why hack up your wiring with cheap splice connectors? It doesn't matter what kind of trailer connection you are using they should be avoided if they can. Also I have three vehicles with the 4 blade connection. They are all older than a cheap splice connector would have lasted ... Do it right so you don't have to worry about it later.
  10. The splice connectors are easy to use and convenient but they cause many headaches when they get loose. Taping them will help but a loose connection is a sure bet in the future. If you have time and ability it would be better to solder and shrink wrap the splices.
  11. Thanks for the info fellas. It is a cool old engine but I didn't want to be tied to it when it came time for maintenance and repairs. Having it gone in an afternoon seems appealing but I just don't like losing money out of convenience. I'm needing the money to finish the boat it was removed from. Never listed on eBay before, only been a buyer. Guess I'll try that and Craigslist. Thanks again
  12. I'm new to scraping metal and I have a fully functioning and running engine and outdrive from a late 50's inboard/outboard boat. It is a two stroke 4cyl engine and is made of aluminum. The outdrive seems to be mostly aluminum as well. They are both painted and I am using a magnet as my test. From what I gather this setup is rare and was the first I/O attempt by OMC. What can I expect to get paid if I scrapped them? Can I do anything to them to get the highest aluminum price possible? I guess the engine weighs 300lbs and outdrive maybe 150lbs. I might try and sell for parts if I would only get $40-50... Thanks for the help.
  13. From the folks at Fat Tire. Its actually called New Belgium Brewery and Fat Tire is a beer they brew. I don't drink much anymore. I'm allergic to it. It makes me break out in handcuffs almost every time I drink too much.... But I do like a Pacifico when I'm fishing in the summer. Only one though. I love shooting guns. Don't hunt much anymore but growing up on the ranch in NE I bagged several deer, a bull elk around Chadron, NE, coyotes, coons, prairie dogs, turkey, dove, pheasant, grouse. Coons and coyotes were always the most fun to hunt cause we could use the spotlight, or calls from big hills during the day. I like to fish more than hunt now.
  14. I like it... I'm jealous ... lots of hardwork for sure but nothing beats driving something cool and one of a kind that you finished by not giving up...
  15. When I bought my 86 it spit the fan off and poked my radiator on the way home. Bought one from Jeeps unlimited(junkyard) in Erie Co. $70 and I left him the old one. It was all metal as was the original. Maybe try car-part.com and search for 84-86 xj? I have an AC condenser that will fit it..
  16. Just checked and radiator barn is out of business. Sorry for the bad info. The brand I got was a CSF all metal Rad. I'm sure someone else sells them.
  17. Check out the all metal 3 core Rad from radiator barn. Quick shipping and very reasonable prices. My xj loves its Rad. The mj will get one too when needed. Right now the mj has factory Rad with inline filler neck and cap.
  18. I'm in Nebraska right now ... Doing some ice fishing with my old man. Its not hot anymore. Caught some nice crappie today.
  19. I'm excited you picked it up. I am also drooling to see some pics. Was the seller a Comanche fan? Or maybe a Jeep herder like yourself? Can't wait to see it....
  20. It wasn't a very old add. Maybe he was just waiting in line for some recreational weed. Edit- I missed your second post stating he called you back .. I hope it works for you..
  21. http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/4262584360.html Here you go Jim ... diesel ready to bolt in..
  22. The Chargers sneaking in was bad for the Broncos. They play great in Denver and Phyllis Rivers even said he likes playing at sports authority field..
  23. Go Broncos!!!
  24. I just want to vote again for the autopal set. They look like stock headlights only better ... Just the housings themselves are worth it, then buy any fancy bulb you want. I'm willing to email you a phone pic of the light pattern tonight... http://www.ebay.com/itm/200mm-H6054-H4-EURO-CONVERSION-HEADLIGHTS-KIT-/330897426583?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4d0b060897
