  1. I agree, color?
  2. What would that consist of?? Like what would I take off and such? And how much
  3. It is stock, it was sitting for awhile, so I might just do a maintenance check on it. Might bring it by work and see what they have to say.. It also has a huge oil leak under the engine bay... I know it would help out a lot with pics, but the MJ is sitting in my Grandparents yard in Alabama.. I hope the oil leak is just a bad head gasket.
  4. Hey guys, when I drove my mj, it wanted to veer to the right all the time. I'm not sure what it would be... Also, my steering wheel column is loose. Any fixes on that? I know there is a website on it but can't find it. Thanks
  5. Hello everyone. Any fort millians out there? I saw a white mj driving from dobys bridge onto fairway going to rock hill maybe. Had a dog in bed maybe a beagle? I was driving my Tj and just glanced and saw it was an mj. Just thought I would post something seeing another jeeper out there.
  6. No problem, Hopefully I can find some time here this week to go to a junkyard and search around for some tan buckets and console.
  7. That is nice! I always wanted black interior. I might go searching for some buckets and center console once it arrives.
  8. I'm not sure why it doesn't have all the upgrades. It was prob the cheaper one of them. It does get where you want to go. And I'm glad it's a 4 cyl. College student driving a Tj with very low gas mileage and work weekends isn't good on the bill. I live in white grove. I went to nation ford high school. I live on the other side of Baxter village (where fort mill high is keep going down that road)
  9. I'm assuming two door panels right? I'm interested... How much to get them shipped to 29715? Thanks P.S. If it's too much trouble to pack those, then just sell them local, but if it's not too much let know! Thanks again
  10. I would be interested also, shipping to SC, if possible, PM me if/when you get the final price of the bumper! Thanks Mike
  11. Not sure if I want to get rid of them just yet. I plan on doing a bucket seat swap soon and will be looking for some tan seats. I don't like the feel of sitting on the floor board with a bench seat haha
  12. Ok, sorry it has been forever, but I still have not gotten the MJ... My Uncle was going to 'lend' it to my cousin's boyfriend, who is a plumber, who does his own work, but doesn't have a vehicle. And I was like well ok, but I still want it no matter what, but when I told them there is a huge oil leak, like huge, dripping from the bottom of the engine bay, they decided to call it off. And I will HOPEFULLY be picking it up next weekend, depending on when I start work.. I will be towing it from Athens, AL to Fort Mill, SC (about a 9 hour trip one way). We will be using a dolly. What do I have to do to set it up on the dolly? Like disconnect anything and what not. About the oil leak, could it be a bad valve cover gasket even though it is going all the way down to the bottom of the engine bay and dripping off? Thanks ! Mike
  13. I was searching through craigslist today and saw that!
  14. There is gunk around the valve cover... But I don't even drive it and its leaking really bad... What is the hose connecting on top, near the valve cover, I did see some oil around there.
  15. Alright guys, I visited my Comanche again (in Alabama) and I crawled under it, and I see oil EVERYWHERE! Like all around the engine.. What could cause this?
  16. It's really not that hard to remove and install. Just need to vacuum/recover the system first then take ac hoses off of compressor then take the belt off the clutch (usually cheaper to replace whole thing instead of just clutch) then unbolt bolts to compressor and drain the oil then put new oil in the new one...
  17. That could be caused by scored drums... Rub your finger up and down the inside of your drum, make sure no hot spots or big cracks.. Then pull up your rubber boot around your brake cylinder and if fluid comes out, you need a new one, if just a little fluid comes out, that's ok..
  18. exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks!
  19. Sorry guys, It's 10 hours away because it is my Uncle's and he is wanting to get rid of it... It was my Grandfather's, but my Uncle gave him a dollar for it, so now I'm giving him a dollar for it. My Uncle never used it, just to haul stuff, but it's been sitting in storage for awhile now and he finally decided to let it go to me and I live 10 hours away from him..
  20. Hello everyone, I've been searching and I thought I saved the link in my favorites, but I guess not... Anyway... Anyone have the link to change the mileage on a different gauge cluster going into the Comanche?? I checked with my friend's dad who is a state trooper and he said it's fine to change as long as it's the same amount of mileage in SC.. Thanks!
  21. Thanks for the info guys! When I go up there I will drive it around and stuff to make sure things are good, like getting the engine running and I might just tow it home on a UHAUL trailer... I don't like using the dolly trailer just because I don't know if something will happen to the truck
  22. Oh yeah my dad and brother will be behind me or infront of me the whole time in the suv
  23. We were thinking about renting a uhaul thing so the jeep would be all the way up on the trailer... Would be 100 something dollars.. That would probably pay for gas on the trip if the Comanche went alone... Should we do that instead? Towing with a '07 expedition 2wd
