  1. I bought a brand new RHD draglink and insert to go otk on the drivers side to reduce the operating angle, but I changed my mind and didn't fell like redoing the track bar mount on the axle. I was thinking about it more since I installed my ACOS and my Iron Rock double sheer track bar. It does not look like my angles would be that far off with the draglink OTK, and if they turn out to be bad, it looks like I can fix it with a shorter pitman arm. Yellow line is the stock DL Do you think I should just go for it?

  3. Iwas going to unbolt my doors from the hinges and cut the lower third off like people do to make them removeable.

  5. So those are later model doors with 90 lock cylinders? And Johnny does a 92 still use a single soded key or is it double sided?
  6. I got some 97+ doors to put on my MJ and have a few questions for those who have done it. How did you mount the striker plate? would the old lock cylinder swap over so I can use the same key?
  7. Hey Johnny how hard was it to install the 97+ door catch pins? I'm picking up some doors next week and its a lot cheaper then replacing all the parts that the doors need.

  9. My factory vinyl florring is torn and the padding underneath is holding water and causing the floor to rust. I am in the market for a new floor but am torn between carpet or new vinyl. What is the best source for either?

  11. I think the mj at D&D may still have a headliner in it, but it'll probably cost you an arm and a leg.
  12. Not really, but there is a mechanic on dover road that i heard is pretty reasonable. I forgot what the name was though.

I sat in a few similar style seats at the offroad expo last fall and i seemed to fit fine in the seats themselves, i think my real issue would be to get them to go back far enough for the length of my legs. I was looking at the PRP daily driver with the tilted headrest to fit better in a small cab. I really don't want to spend a ton of money on something that in the end won't work right.
  15. No experience with those seats but a fabricated mounts for sparco seats. Took some inginuity but they work great. Those seats look awesome btw :thumbsup: How much? The corbeaus run about 275-300 a piece last time i checked, the only reason I'm asking this is because i'm sort of a big guy 6'3 300, i don't want it to be a tight fit.

  18. I recently replaced the column on my mj, and the column came out of an 88 xj with CC. How hard would it be to add cruise into my mj? What are all the parts that i need?
  19. I picked up a zj prop valve at the JY today to eliminate the rear valve and to prep my jeep for the 8.8 swap. My question is are the fittings the same size as the Mj prop valve or will i have to get adapters or swap the fittings and re-flare the tubes?
  20. Trimmed the bottom of the front fenders and painted the grill Also cleaned up this taillight (took the lens off and cleaned the inside too)
  21. Sorry to intrude on your thread, but thanks I've been wanting to do Wj steering on my mj. Do you have a better pic of how you did the passenger side swaybar mount on the axle end? Good luck with your mj, it looks like you have a good starting point.

  23. It may sound crazy, but I have been wanting to get my 44 re-geared from 3.55s to 4.10s and put disc brakes on it. If i were to find an 8.8 with 4.10s and discs I could probably swap it in for a lot less than what it would cost to regear, convert the drums, and there would be less down time. What do you guys think i should do?
  24. Next time you go could you grab me the visor retaining clips and the little backing plate out of one of the black interior mjs.
