Love your build! Hoping to do something similar with my 91 LWB. Is the Wildernest canopy Comanche specific?

Finally getting around to making a build thread of my MJ that I purchased in Feb. of 2017. CC has been an excellent resource for finding those hard-to-find parts as well as information, with VERY knowledgeable and helpful members that have made owning/building this Comanche an awesome experience! Prior to picking up my 88 Comanche, I had owned two XJ's (currently just one), so I was somewhat familiar with Jeeps and the 4.0 motor. However, I wasn't really sure what to look for as far as year, model, drivetrain, options, etc. I just knew that I wanted a Comanche. After a couple months, of surfing Craigslist I found one that was worth checking out. I had my friend test drive it, because at the time I did not know how to drive a stick. After riding in it for a few miles, I decided that I had to get it, and purchased it on the spot. Here are a couple pics once the comanche made it home! I'll add more pics and info of stuff that's been done to it over the past few years soon!

Definitely one of things on my to do list! Any chance you have some mud flaps you’d be willing to sell? I’m willing to pay a premium for a complete set in good condition.

I need to do that, those look awesome! Be a lot cheaper than getting my seats reupholstered. Bench seat cost $800 guessing buckets would be more.

Thanks, I just ordered some cavity coated! Honestly, I like the way it looks without light so leaning towards not getting any at this point. I already have rigid midnight pods in both bumpers so that’s why I was looking for some lights that would match. Thanks for the input and advice 👍🏼

Leaning toward a couple different rigid midnight edition lights to match my pod lights in the bumpers

I’m finally getting around to installing the factory roll bar that I bought a few months ago. Want your guy’s ideas on light options for it. I don’t mind the way it looks without lights but still undecided... Also is there anything that I could pour/spray in it to prevent it to rust from the inside out?

Installed new seats and mocked up roll bar! Still needs to be painted.

If it turns out that the AX15’s only issue is the slave cylinder I would get a different bell housing and switch to an external slave cylinder. That way you won’t have to drop the transmission when the clutch goes out. Way easier for changing out the clutch! 👍🏼

Do you know if it’s possible to do something like that with a slider window or is it all one piece?

I would recommend doing frame stiffeners, but not saying that it’s necessary. I’ve read about swaps with AX-15s and they handle the torque fine. The 4BT weighs 745lbs and jeep 4.0 weigh 483 lbs. Don’t see the 262lb difference being that big of a deal.
