  1. I’m contemplating selling my 91 HO metric ton 4x4 long bed... not sure if that’s something you might be interested in.
  2. Yeah I got lucky and called the seller within a couple hours of it being posted. He said there were 5 people in line after me if I didn’t want to buy it after looking it over. Did you want it for your mj? This particular Wildernest fits a SWB comanche
  3. Recently I put in a new steering pump, fuel pump and filter. Also purchased a Wildernest! The tent is beyond repairable but the structure is sound. I need to replace some of the rusty hardware and have a new tent built.
  4. Will do! Think it’ll take a while to get new tent material, brackets and painted but should be awesome once it’s complete!
  5. I contacted the seller and am picking it up next weekend! Gonna need quite a bit of work to get it to where I would like it to be, but should be awesome when it’s done. Thanks for sharing the post!
  6. Looks like JCR will be selling their Comanche in the near future!
  7. https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/d/portland-1987-jeep-comanche-pickup-mj/7022184069.html Nice black AMC interior!
  8. https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/d/vancouver-1998-jeep-comanche/7021470537.html Looks like a clean 97+ conversion.
  9. Finally had the bench seat that I purchased from jeepdude89 reupholstered in black vinyl. Kept the original lines and design from the factory and got a discount for trading the XJ seats that the previous owner had installed.
  10. I had the bed rhino lined, forgot to take a before picture but it’s a night and day difference!
  11. So I have some good and bad news. My new comanche finally came in tonight, but my other comanche broke down while driving home. I think it’s a bad fuel pump or fuel filter not sure yet. The tachometer also randomly quit working.
  12. I’m not sure that’s how it was when I got it. The PO installed an aftermarket AC system in it.
  13. Had the shop install a slip yoke eliminator, a 2 Low kit in the T-case, Adam’s driveshaft, and a Hurst short shifter while they were doing the transmission and axle swap.
  14. After owning my Comanche for a roughly a year, the transmission and rear differential went out. I purchased a Dana 44 off CL and an AX-15 from Novak. Since the rear axle and transmission swap, haven’t had any issues. The AX-15 is way beefier the BA/10 that was in it prior.
  15. Long term goal for the SWB is a 4BT swap but don’t foresee that happening anytime soon. The LWB I would like to do a small lift and 31’s or 33’s. Primarily being used as a camping rig.
  16. Thanks! I’ll message you if I decide to sell one of them. They do come in great for camping. Yes I have one of each.
  17. Tacoma area... I spend way too much time on Craigslist lol! I do have plans for it, but I recently bought a long bed comanche and I might be selling the topper that is currently on it once it gets shipped up here.
  18. Thanks for all the input. Still shopping around for the best deal. Thanks!
  19. Painting to match. Do you think a contrast would look good? Ideas for colors?
  20. Yes I love it, the previous one hand more headroom, but just didn’t look right to me! Like it when the topper is even with the cab. I preemptively purchased a long bed Leer Canopy when one popped up on CL.
  21. What it looks like on my MJ!
  22. I sold that topper and bought another one I found off of CL in Kentucky. Shipping was crazy, but worth it. I wanted a Leer Fiberglass Canopy. I plan to get it painted to match sometime next year. 👍🏽
  23. I purchased a comanche in Nebraska and am getting it shipped to Washington State. I’ve checked out UShip and have offers ranging from $1300-$1600. Do any of you guys know or have ideas on a less expensive option for shipping? Thanks!
  24. I really wanted a Comanche specific topper and after looking for a few months came across this one for sale in California. I bought it and had it shipped to Washington even though I wasn’t a fan of the way it looked, it came in handy to have.
